I have been trying to open an Easy Access Account with this bank for the past two days. I am exhausted with trying to satisfy their demands to prove “I am who I am”! Ridiculous. I have 10 other accounts with different banks and never had to “jump through so many hoops”. Their interest rate is certainly not the best but I am over my limit with RCI - 1.67%, Coventry - 1.55%, Paragon - 1.60%. I would strongly recommend anyone thinking of opening an account with this bank, try the others. UPDATE: Finally opened an account to then find they wanted access to my bank, by True Layer, to again prove who I am😡. On looking True Layer up, they have only a score of 3.9 on Google. I would definitely not put my money with this bank.
