Thoroughly disappointing branch. In numerous efforts to recieve an appointment to talk to someone about ISAs and credit card options, I was twice given a double booked appointment, being turned away at the door because the person I came to see "wasn't here today" even tho they made the appointment, time and deligated the staff member. And have now arrived for another appointment that they chose to be 9am, the bank doesn't open until 9.30. They seem to be struggling to manage the basic control of their clients, which has been an accurate description for the past 6months atleast, if you can go to another branch, I'd recommend swerving this one.

Should be open on a Friday until 3pm. It isn't with no warning. Has happened more often than not so I believe it's a regular thing. Ideally dates should be updated if this is to close.

Arrived on the minute to 14 and they just shut the doors in front of me. It's crazy that they dont let their client know the right time before getting there. Hope this review of time helps.

Walked all the way here on Saturday morning as it's the only time I could come pick up my card - branch is closed with no explanation, absolute joke. Will be changing banks

Sadly my local bank has gone down hill. I went in yesterday simply to withdraw some cash from my account as I had been told to go in while being the victim of fraud. As I didn’t have my card I was treated like a suspect by two European women who struggled to speak clear English. Going back and forth suspicious due to a spelling error of a middle name on my passport. The whole process took me about 45 minutes. Neither of the two women informed me what the issue was or why they left me standing at the counter for so long. I ended up asking is there a problem because as a British citizen I have never experienced discrimination in a Santander bank. Once I receive my card I am moving banks after being with Santander since being old enough to have an account. The customer service is rubbish and I can not even speak to a customer agent who speaks clear English as I would expect from a bank. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour from two European customer service agents. Looking down their nose at a well to do women of colour.

Their website says they close at 4:30pm on Mondays. I showed up today at 4:15pm and they were already closed. I do not care whether I show up at 10am or 4:25pm, their website said they were open until 4:30pm and THAT is what it shoul have been. Their website had clearly not been updated. I also called them to ask what the problem was and I was "put on hold" and got hung up on. Also, last time I went, the man at the door was rude to my wife in FRONT of me and I let him have it.
Their website NOT being updated to notify customers of an earlier closure, being hung up on, and being rude to women for no reason at all, reflects completely mediocre and unacceptable customer service and is totally unprofessional. In my opinion, Santander is terrible! Don't go there, you'll waste your time! Put your money in another bank!

stay away from this branch!
they are clearly understaffed but the worse is that the staff they do have are rude and have no idea about costumer service.
when I went into the office with the account executive he walked in cursing and insulting the costumer that was standing outside, I should have taken this as a red flag and leave.
Throughout the appointment he was dismissive and condescending. When I asked about the difference between two different bank accounts he got really irritated, started raising his voice and threatening me about not opening the bank account. In the end he kicked me out and denied service, it was a very frightening and humiliating situation. I do have to say that at no point I was rude or did anything to encourage this behaviour.
He wasn't following any sanitary guidelines either. His mask was on his chin and he had a very used tissue that he kept using and grabbing and then immediately handling my personal documents.
