I've had one account here ages ago I was very happy when I closed it. Then Woolwich Building Society closed so our accounts came over to this crap bank so I was happy when I closed that account too. Twice in a row 😂
Crap staff and a joke of a Bank. And today I'm here due to my Father's Bank account closure. Do not bank with them they are an embarrassment to the UK Banking system. Two customer service agents dealing with two account openings after an hour we are still waiting. Three staff are resting in one of the room s (including Manager)
Either Barclays don't give a s... Or this is the best they can do. Well avoid it at any cost

Branch is not closed any more as a previous reviewer stated. It has cashiers, cash machines and office staff. The branch is tiny and very busy, the office staff refused to do an ID check to finish an online application and told me to book on the phone in advance.

Lady on door was very aggressive forcing customers to use machines and not use counter service. been a customer for over 12 years - will inconvenience myself by going to another branch. Wont be going back to stamford hill again

I wanted to transfer funds to my solicitors client account. I had my passport, driving license letters from solicitors. But more importantly I had my Barclays app which I logged into in their presence. But however I was told they could not verify that it’s me as I did not have my card on me. I left the bank disappointed after seeing two different people.
The lady named “Pro” was very helpful and even spoke to the manager as a month ago she did transfer funds to the same solicitor without my card. But the manager refused to help.
I was panicking as I did not have enough time.
Their objection was that I should have my card.
Anyways as soon as I left the bank I called customer services in app. Told them the whole situation. The lady at customer was really helpful and told me to launch an complaint against the branch. I asked her to speak to the manager as I was only about 10 minutes away, I went back to the branch and boy was I treated differently when I told them the customer services are on call and want to speak to the manager. My query was dealt with within minutes after the customer services spoke to the manager.

oh no! today i need some banking done at barclays, that means for me atleast an hour waiting over the phone, or if i need to go down to my local branch most probably all the tills are closed or maybe 3 hours a day one till is open with long quewes waiting... due to covid.....

This is my first time going to this Bank Branch, the person who works on Friday around 16:00 / 28.10.22/ helped me and was extremely kind! Thank you.

Wow. 1hr wait.

1 cashier and 4 staff manning the machines, helping when required but generally doing nothing, drinking red bull and at times mocking the customers.

Genuinely astonished.

Allow minimum 3 hours just to be able to contact a customer service, banking app is outdated, lack of staff. They only blame pandemic for their fail which can not be true
