Halifax

Have tried on 7 separate occasions to arrange a home contents insurance meeting. Three times no-one answered, twice I've connected and been told someone will call back, and twice I was eventually re-connected to someone at a call centre in Liverpool who was to send them a note to get back in touch. They never have.

How hard can it be?

The staff are always nice but you can no longer do cash/counter banking here any more. Everything had to be done using the self service machines. Our the help counter. So some people will have to go Lewisham for some things

Dont need counters. Staff floor walk and never had to wait too long. Clean and accessible. Parking available across the road in car park by lidls or Tescos.

Today I went to this brunch to open a saving account for my son,I took off work and pay the cab to go to this brunch as I've been told to do so by Halifax phone conversation,when I arrived at this brunch the entrance young lady looked like she did not want to work and she was very rude and told me to go to another brunch as they do not open account in that brunch,so I left to go to the Lewisham brunch where I open my son's saving account and they told me that this was unbelievable that the catford brunch did this ( catford brunch is using this situation of covid to not work at all and make people's life's more difficult.)

Most pointless bank I have ever been too. Staff are clueless and rude, no tills just ATMs. If your around this area try Lewisham. Don’t waste your time here.

This branch is the absolutely terrible and need to just close as they are closed as and when the staff feels like it there customer service is horrific and shameful halifax has been my choice of bank for the past 10 years and now I will be switching because I am always disappointed when I take the time out my day to visit the branch. This was my third time this week going there to do the same thing I've been trying to do for over 2 weeks and once again on my only day off I've turned up twice and still have not been able to do what I came to do
Because the staff has to close the branch multiple times a day.. this will be my last visit and I'm currently on my way to a different bank to switch....

No counter services, just machines. The humans, who are nice, only have iPads connected to the Halifax website for 'help'. What is the point of this branch?

Poor customer service. Also, the bank sometimes closes 30 mins to 1 hours before it's official closing time. Very frustrating bank.
