Helpful staff on this branch and all but Halifax in general is not so good. There's a lot to improve on their service, but in general this branch works well during busy periods and I'd got all my problems sorted every time I needed to go there.

Since the Branch in Wealdstone has been closed, I manage to spare little time to go to Harrow on the hill branch!! that too ends up up with some sort of problem! Takes really longer to do a very little transaction, ok it could be customer’s fault deposit machines hasn’t been operated properly ( Bank says) , today I had a experience of waiting in the queue for about an hour, so many staffs walking around, one customer stuck to one till for an hour and still going on, hot days , people sweating!! Very unprofessional! I m thinking now!! Well I m not gonna go to branch anymore!! 👎👎👎

All that I can say is that the staff is horrible and unprofessional. They shouldn't work in the bank. No point to say what happened or how did I got to this conclusion. I've been with halifax for 8 years. Happy about pretty much everything except this branch.
P.s. no point to go deeper into ,because nothing will happen anyways. I'll just change banks

Someone should really look at this branch. Employes are really helpfully, but there is always only one till working which means the que is massive at least 20 min waiting time just annoying. On the top of that they have closed the wealdstone branch which was very busy and in use also, meaning more customers for harrow on the hill branch

Terrible customer service. My partner went there today to get statements from previous year as there is no option to get them on website. We got advised to get them from the nearest branch. Although he went there the lady informed him that she is not able to do it and advised him to do it online? I think that’s really unprofessional and she just didn’t want to do it.

Even if he would do it at home still when you enter the bank and request a statement you should be able get it!

He went to another branch placed in Wembley and in less than 5 minutes he had the statements.

Had an appointment at 11:00 with Alpana, got there around 11:20. We have 5 kids and had to take 2 smallest ones with us since we don't have anyone to look after them. They can't tell me about their day so can't leave them with strangers. Anyway, stood in the queue for another 10 mins. A very nice lady checked if my appointment could still be fulfilled. When Alpana approached me, she gave me the impression that she would be able to keep the appointment, but after 5 mins into waiting for my husband to come she said to add another person to an account that would take around 45 mins, then she said 30 mins and i should re-book the appointment. I've explained that my situation will not change, I will always have to deal with unexpected things, I am already there with my 2 kids if she could see me. Now they make this rule where both party should be there if adding a person to the account but didn't take into account the mitigated circumtance. She was indifferent to my situation, which is really bad customer service. I will be closing this account and my child's account because I don't think I want to be with a bank who is ready to sell me stuff but is indifferent to my difficulties!

Patrick the manager is awful lies about policies just so he does not have to do work. Does not have any eye contact when speaking and is very rude. Also caught him picking his nose and then eating it!! Ewwww

I had an appointment with Alpana Jadeja at the Harrow branch. She is the worst adviser i have ever dealt with. I was seen more than 10minutes late and all i wanted was to add my mother as a joint account holder. She questioned why and refused to accept that this was a condition of getting a reward for their current account despite me explaining that i had been advised to do so by other Halifax employees and was the recommendation following a dispute. She was adamant she was right and the entire 50 minutes was spent arguing she was right as she had opened so many accounts and the advise i was given by Halifax itself was wrong. In the end she realised she was wrong but did not apologise but continued to waste time and the joint account holder name not added. Halifax - please train your staff well and ask them to actually listen to customers. I am very angry by the time i wasted and the sheer incompetence and arrogance of Alpana and will be raising a formal complaint.
