Unprofessional laziest staff i have ever wittnessed in any bank!
After being with them for so long decided not to bare them Anymore and switched to METRO BANK Now.
Even Halifax’s customer services are rubbish they hang up phone on your face! EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF!

I cannot believe what I witnessed yesterday, the rudeness of a male manager raising his voice to an elderly customer and her daughter when they simply were just questioning a procedure. I have switched my accounts over night! Shocking service.

I attended the branch with my elderly mother who needed to queue up at the counter to see a member of staff. The lady who was meeting and greeting customers and ensuring that everyone was social distancing was brilliant. She could see how infirm my mother is and asked if she would like to sit down while she waited, also ensuring that no one jumped the queue. She then brought another seat when we reached the front of the queue. The lady member of staff who was blonde haired and was working about 12.15 needs commending for her great customer care.

Shocking behaviour from Halifax manager and I have made a complaint. Manager refused to open my sons account even though he is 16 years old she said a parent needed to be present, information was inaccurate as it clearly states no parent or guardian needed for 16 year account. She shouted at my son whilst I was on the phone and told him instead of going around in circles get your Mum to come in and refused to talk to me on the phone. His first independent experience ruined by this manager at barkingside branch. I have now successfully opened up another account with nationwide
And made a complaint to Halifax never ever will I recommend this branch and Halifax need to compensate for distress

I would give ZERO! Minus ZERO! I do not know the elderly lady who works as a cashier there who needs to fix her attitude there. We stand in a queue patiently and treat the staff politely and expect the same as a customer! But NO! All the do is take advantage of your humbleness! I would rather visit ILFORD BRANCH! Disgusting behaviour! Avoid like a plague!

They don't deserve 1 star. Clearly they don't want branches and are trying to force everyone online. 1 cashier the whole time and que out the door. Manager in a conference where she could not be disturbed until after 3pm. Glad I can take my business elsewhere.

If I could give this branch any less then I would. Staff seem less concerned with the customers who walk in and more concerned with causing distress. Even when advisors make mistakes the store manager in place has failed to follow it up. Not going to be using this branch anymore as it’s not the kind of place where I would want to conduct business. Piece of advise - value your customers and more importantly the ones who put trust in you to look after their custom. Do not recommend!
