I have banked with Halifax for many years and the Walton branch has been my go to with usually a good service. I am not sure if there is recent new management or what but today it was like the Little Britain sketch, "computer says no". Seriously considering my banking options now....

Very unkind & unprofessional service to customer.
I have an account with Halifax for few years as a local person but try to avoid this brunch from now on !!!

Brunch manager(working Saturday), she does not care how the customer feels with service even I explained. She almost shout at me.

Seriously think to change BANK.

Avoid this branch.

I came to this branch following guidance too from the Halifax helpline, and the manager (working Saturday's) had never heard of the service. He seemed very unprofessional and wasn't fully trained.

When i asked for a printed copy of my statements, he handed me a letter addressed to another customer!!!

Travelled too Walton On Thames by car to help my Neighbour who is 90 years old on Monday, who sadly struggles a bit can't walk too far stand up for to long, it was supposed to open at 9.00am till 3.00pm, waited till 10.00am not a sign of anybody in the branch. Drove past by at 1.30 it was still closed. Will try again next Monday fingers crossed hopefully it will be open.

Halifax customer service at Walton-On-Thames is absolutely abysmal there is none, it's pretty much none existent, what a total contrast to Nationwide round the corner bumped into friends, and had a chat a well with one of the cashiers who showed us pictures of her rescue dog. Another neighbour who normally who sometimes takes our elderly neighbour ha a run in with Halifax manager, found her extremely rude and arrogant.

I checked online - branch in Walton should open at 9.30am. I got there at 9.40am and an employee waiting outside told me to come back in 15 minutes. I came back in about 20 minutes. People inside ignored me and I waited outside in 3 degree temperature as I desperately needed to deposit a cheque. Other customers came and went but I thought I would wait - though still being ignored! Finally one customer pounded on the door and a man in a suit came and said not opening till 10.30am. He ignored me saying I have been waiting outside in the cold, ignored and misinformed!
I will be exploring elsewhere to transfer to and my advice to the Halifax is don’t ignore your customers. A simple sign on the door!!!!

Worse customer service ever!! Staff are exceptionally rude, miserable, they act like they don't want to be there, unprofessional and they never smile. Been a loyal customer for many years. The only reason I've stayed with them that long is the high savings interest rates offered for my young children. I dread going into this branch in Walton

Worse bank ever, the staff and branch manager are bullies… I broke down after been treated awfully. But Both the cashier and manager said I was pretending to be crying… please don’t go into this branch on Walton if you don’t want to feel worse or suicidal…
