The barclays is Crewe is great but Nantwich branch is the worst I've ever seen

This branch has a ramp that is very steep that is really dangerous as it tips my wheelchair back and had to hold on to handrail for dear life, not suitable for people in electric wheelchair

I have found for the 3rd month running, that there is very poor service. Only 1 lady on the counter and 1 helping a customer at a desk.
All staff were fine. The system is wrong. No-one to even help at machines. Surely the staff can see how busy it is? I was 6th in the queue and waited for ages.

Only one person on the counter. I waited one hour, and then was told to go to the Crewe branch because they didn't have the staff to deal with my query. The staff are under pressure, Barclays do not care about customer service.

Its closing in Sept and while some may be aggrieved, this is now the normal for Barclays or any bank. The staff in general are disinterested, probably because the banks are closing, the data used for the reasons on closing takes into account the lock down periods, so yes, counter transactions would be down considerably. Customers would walk in , see the long queue and 1 counter open and again, yes would just leave, so the data is corrupt to close them. It seems most banks have zero interest in the face to face service a bank used to have and the saving Barclays, or for that matter any bank save on rent/mortgage, staff , heating , business rates, insurances etc, far out weight anything you as a customer may need. Get used to that, because it seems they will all be gone within the next 5 years.

This branch has some very friendly and helpful staff. The “greeters” in particular go out of their way to help resolve your issues. At the moment the opening hours are limited, so best to check them before you go!
