I don’t understand why some people give bad reviews… For me, I have visited the bank a number of times and the bank is doing well. The staff are up and doing (helpful). I always leave the banking hall satisfied with the services rendered.

I had asked one Asian lady staff like me there that I had spoken on the phone with customer service and they had said that in branch they are supposed to print off online membership numbers . But she was so rude to me she said no they don't do that in branch and when I went to another Barclays branch the staff was so good she said yes they do print the online membership numbers in branch and she even went to the trouble of cutting the number out and sellotaping it onto a small barclays card so it was easy to carry around.

The problem with this bank you never know when it is open .Times they say are not the hours they are open. If you want a bank open longer the nearest one is Walsall as they have closed alot of their branches.

What kind of bank doesn't have a single cashier working? Yes, you can do a lot via machines but not when you're a new business customer with no card and no paying in slip and all this while members of staff were just hanging around doing nothing. At least try to look busy to customers who are annoyed after queuing to speak to one guy on reception - a sort of triage to prevent customers from wanting to see a human. Long queues....Lloyds nor HSBC are this bad so why Barclays? If you're looking to open a new account, look elsewhere - this place is useless.

Don't understand why people have given bad reviews. Number of times I have visited the branch, staff have been helpful. There were long queues but staff were helping everyone as best as they could keeping covid restrictions in mind.
