Moved to the Halifax last year when the HSBC closed. The Halifax made it such a easy process not one problem did we encounter. And great service to.
Well done to all the team.

Oh my god...do not take notice of anything that the goon says, assuming all pensioners are copper hoarding! If you take a look at his other reviews he is constantly moaning, the old,the polish etc etc! Some people moan for moaning sake! Some cheese with that whine???

Disappointing that no longer open until 5pm. Admittedly I do not need to visit the bank regularly, but when you work full time, 0930-1630 are not great hours!

Excellent branch with staff that simply cannot do enough for you. External cashpoint and internal ATM's for deposits/withdrawals. Customer service desk inside and they will always help you with queries, transactions, account questions etc. On a pedestrian street, no vehicular access. Nearest car parking areas are the Idlewells multi storey or the Market place, although you can park on the lower end of Forest Street, near Lloyds/Nat West if you have a disabled parking permit

Visited the Halifax at Sutton in Ashfield today at 12.05
Only ONE member of staff was actually providing banking services whilst a second member of staff perpetually questioned the eight customers waiting patiently outside in the cold as to why they where their and what service they required. After some 40 minutes waiting we eventually got inside to be served.
Why a member of staff “ a managerial member “, is required to POLICE the door as opposed to providing a more proficient service of circa 100% more efficiency by manning a service point is bewildering. When quizzed the response was this is a company requirement.
Clearly spending less on FALSE customer service promises on advertising, “ we’re there for you “ , ( NOT ) all over TV by actually providing some service is not a company requirement
Ps
Once inside the staff are polite and helpful, shame management cannot manage at this branch. It’s not complex to supply ACTUAL customer service and much cheaper than the cost of the FALSE TV propaganda
