Higher up staff don't seem to know what they're doing. Woman who booked my appointment for me was very nice and helpful. Not enough staff working for such a busy branch. Man who I saw to set up my account was very young and didn't seem to know how banking worked, left the room multiple times to ask his manager if or how he could do certain things. Looks very nice inside though and there's seating areas to wait.

Perfectly matches my needs for everyday banking. Staff are helpful and friendly, getting everything done quick. I recently had a big cash operation coming through and they handled it very professionally. I have to agree with the comment about it been a bit understaffed at times, I hope they will adjust for that soon

Appalling customer service. The staff are rude and unhelpful. A few of the front desk staff even give mortgage advice which is incorrect when trying to arrange appointments with advisor. Their once appealing packages have been reduced to nothing. They pus you to use money counting machines which eats your money. Have to wait 3 days to hopefully get it returned. They took a cheque and refuse to cash them, no staff members could give a reason why. Took them 4 weeks to return it. RUBBISH!!

failed online and then in branch to open an account for my son (15) even though I have a mortgage with them. I walked around the corner and opened his account at the TSB, it took 30 minutes, excellent service, phone call next day to confirm it had all gone through. Not the fault of the santander branch staff, just poor training and bad systems.

Fantastic service from all members of staff on my pop in to set up and enquire about savings accounts. Phil particularly like as a great help whom was able to answer all questions I had, alongside taking all necessary paperwork into his own hands to sort out on site.

Very pleasant and easy experience.

I am trying to get a hold of the bank to change my credit card appointment as I am unable to attend but so far it has been a very disappointing experience. I haven't got a confirmation email but only a paper card with the date and a paid phone number. I am unable to use a paid phone number and frankly I believe is a bit unfair to give it. The phone number on Google is automated saying you can find everything online. You can't. I have been trying to chat with them as well - nothing. There is no way I can get hold to explain something simple as changing my appointment and that so far has led me to the conclusion that I don't want a credit card anymore. The bank as normal account has been okay. Nothing major as experience but if you are trying to get hold of someone online it is impossible.

At a point now where I just assume the bank is closed whenever I need it..
Definitely switching soon. Absolutely useless.
