Whenever I have visited this branch for assistance I have found the staff to be very friendly, efficient and helpful. The customer-facing staff manage to humanise banking despite the existence of an ever-increasing number of soulless executives who pay themselves millions per year.

Dreadful service, went into the branch this morning to try to sort out my friends account, made arrangements with a member of staff to call my friend at her home at 1pm, I went to my friends to wait, it's now 3.29pm and despite 3 calls to their call centre there has still not been a call back!! Unbelievably bad service, they've also cancelled my friends direct debit s leaving her owing her council tax and phone bill. My friend is 79 and I can't believe how this bank has behaved today. If you're thinking if opening an account with HSBC I would seriously think twice.

Issue sorted very quickly and easily. Something 3 phone calls, 4 call handlers and LOTS of hold musak failed to do. Thanks Trica

Can't leave a -5 review! Disgraceful bank.... having been banking with them for nearly 40 years and always being well in credit they would not allow me to transfer money on-line so has to visit the bank.... they then made me pay £17 for the transfer..... I will be banking elsewhere in the future!! The customer service team are liars!!
