We were very hungry so the waiter gave us complementary short bread biscuit to eat while we wait for our food. The vegetarian burger was delicious.
The place was clean and the staff were friendly. I only gave it 4 stars because we had to wait for a while for our food.

The food here is absolutely delicious. Atmosphere was good and I loved the decor. Nice bar area with a good wine selection. Seating around the bar, table and chairs and booths. Waiter was pleasant and recommended some items on the menu. I had the ribs, the best I've had in years. Portions are large, so go hungry. Prices are average for Guildford area. I've been to places more expensive but the food wasn't as nice as here. They have another restaurant on site, The Jetty. Will be back to try the afternoon tea.

A great Christmas dinner 😊 Well seasoned chicken and some equally great sides. The cocktail I ordered ( Gin sherbert) was so-so but a great experience overall. The ambiance and decor on the other hand are very cool 😉. If you do stay at the Guildford Harbour Hotel, the breakfast buffet will be served there as well. Really good 😉

Jaz festival was on while there for afternoon tea. So loud we couldn't have a conversation. Had to wait for the breaks to talk. For what we got it was overpriced. Was celebrating my mum's birthday, totally disappointed with the food offered. They never told us when we booked a table for 7 people that a jaz festival was on & we'd be sitting by the path where the wet towels & guest to the spa would enter & exit. So no conversation possible, trollies of wet towels, limited cakes as they ran out & a bill including service charge (which we didn't pay). Not a great experience at all. At least my mum enjoyed herself with her family having a good old moan about the experience. Gave her something to tell her friends about & she won't forget this birthday treat. We had to moan after as we couldn't moan during as we couldn't here anyone.

Very friendly staff who are very accommodating and engaging. Nothing was to much trouble for them. Rooms spacious and very clean with plenty of amenities safe hair drier etc. Breakfast plenty to choose. Bar prices are on a par with London food in the restaurant is very good. I would recommend afternoon tea it very popular. The hotel itself is a short walk from the shopping area and there are many old pubs and restaurants around the area. Around a 2 min walk to the pedestrian area.

Very cosy atmosphere. We have had an afternoon tea after a spa treatment. Really enjoyed my special treat. The sandwiches and cakes were very fresh and delicious, service was great. Would definitely come back!

One steak not cooked properly at first attempt, waitress was lovely and tried really hard but needed more training about dining etiquette. Side dishes made an expensive dinner even more so.
