Food was quite tasty. The lady that greeted and seated us was really nice but the rest of the staff seemed overwhelmed and we waited a very long time for everything, even just a jug of water took 3 separate asks. I loved the decor, especially the mirror at the entrance and the see through floor element to see the wine cellar but was very let down by service.

Found the whole meal to be surprisingly excellent. Service was quick and prices reasonable. We thought it would be good, but not that good. Lamb burger was nice, but the pastry on the pie was particularly good.

I would give 10 stars if it was an option. Not the average pub experience, this is how all the others should be! Burger (bearded men) was delicious, and the chips were crispy and super fresh. I really enjoyed that the burger was served with red cabbage for a crunch as opposed to the usual lettuce/tomato/onion combo. Friendly team with excellent service.

We were placed outside, where it was very cold. At the end it turned out that they had a section that had some outdoor heating but we weren't deemed worthy of that. Other tables were invited inside and we were left outside. We were told it was table side service but service was non existent. Generally poor. Food was ok, hard to say too much about drinks as we couldn't get attention to have them refreshed. Skip it, or make sure you sit inside where presumably the staff exist.

Also, found out after the meal that they do have blankets but didn't offer us any.

The low star reviews are just plain stupid for starters. People moaning about healthy food or being cold - they don't claim its healthy, and if you're cold outside get a jacket.

On with the review, great experience eating as a solo diner, staff were friendly, the JFC was delicious, the pork crackling was crispy but soft, and the fish and chips was a perfect size. Will definitely revisit when in the area and I'd recommend it to anyone travelling.

Loved this venue and the menu.

The black sheep burger was delicious and the JFC was mouth wateringly good.

The venue was really clean, very welcoming. Allergies were checked for before sitting down.

Loved the fact that the menu wasn't just "normal pub grub" and that there was a nice twist on the offering.

Everyone was welcomed warmly.

Good area for dogs to sit and we observed that the dogs were automatically offered a clean bowl of water at the same as their humans were offered drinks. Nice touch.

All in all can't wait to come back and try other things off the menu 🥰🥰

Fabulous place with the best staff & a great menu. We arrived during Happy Hour, so we got 20% off our bottle of wine. I can’t praise the staff enough. Every one was friendly & attentive. We came with our dog and we were made to feel really welcome. We were told they served chicken feet 😬 which our dog scoffed down.
Overall I would highly recommend The Three Eagles. Probably the best pub in Llangollen. We will be back!

Absolutely superb food, really pleasant atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Outdoor seating was fantastic, lovely to sit on the stable and have an overhead heater to take the chill off. Lovely bottle of house red. Ribs and burger beautiful! Highly recommended!!
