Always a warm welcome. Always at least one real ale on offer. Prices reasonable, good menu, quality good, specials board. Would advise booking. Currently (29/04/22) not open Monday nor Tuesday.

Very good wholesome food, divine desserts, had booked a table then had to ring to say delayed kindly lady was patient with us even though kitchen was closing in 20minutes thanks to her, the chef and all the staff.Went back to Nicholls Arms first time since lockdown had a fantastic meal dogs made extremely welcome in the bar and my gluten free needs were satisfied. Warm welcome just a great pub.

Tasty pub food for a Saturday night dinner.

We both ordered the gammon and were pleased with the quality and the portions. We left happy and with full bellies.

Think the landlord served us... He was friendly, polite and attentive without being overbearing.

Will definitely be back!

Stopped by on a whim for a post-work aperitif. Lovely roaring fire with pictures of the pub dotted all around, Butty Bach on tap, and even a dog menu. Would return for dinner!

Beautiful cosy pub with original features and fire place. We were greeted by friendly staff who made us feel welcome. Food had large portions which was home cooked and absolutely delicious! We all enjoyed our food with no complaints. Definitely would recommend and each and everyone of us said that we would return.

Visit The Nick you will not be disappointed. This is a grade 2 listing building with a welcoming interior featuring wood panelling and exposed stone walls, local paintings, brass and photos of the village. There is a warming wood burner in the winter months. Seating consists of leather armchairs and sofa's which are really comfortable making you want to linger and enjoy your beer and the atmosphere. There is plenty of seating in the dining area at the rear again adorned with wood panelling. The Chef's home cooked food is superb. Sunday lunch is well worth a visit. The staff are friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. There is one changing real ale on offer usually Butty Bach which is so Moorish and kept in great condition by the owner. Also nice to see and taste is Penderyn Whisky which isn't widely available. This is a proper pub with friendly staff and friendly regulars.

Small little pub, very friendly and welcoming and a nice atmosphere. Dog friendly which is always nice. Food was lovely too.
