1st night of them doing food... They didn't disappoint. Great service, a quick hello from the owner and the food was outstanding!

Against all odds Jack Russell's opened... Absolutely fantastic atmosphere here, its a nice spot to sit early evening in front of the beautiful fire with friends and later turns into the best night spot in the village!! Having spent time in real Irish pubs this one is up there, authentic Irish gins and whiskeys are on offer with Irish music playing on. The bar and door staff are fantastic, friendly and welcoming! you get that warm welcome as soon as you walk through the door. Great work jack Russell's.

Beautiful surroundings, spacious areas for wheelchair access with disabled bathroom facilities which are of a high standard.. Friendly atmosphere and friendly staff. A great Irish establishment to enjoy a few drinks with friends. Thanks for the hospitality. Worthy of 5 stars....

Booked a table for 2 adults and 2 children, the food came out just over an hour after ordering, we had to send back my 9 year old's sausage as it was quite overcooked, we did get another sausage cooked correctly brought out to us.

After complaining we did get the childrens food and drinks removed from the bill as an apology from the manager who was very apologetic and dealt with our complaints very well.

I Just can't understand why a chef would ever plate that up to even begin with, especially when a 9 year old can point out it's overcooked!!!!

Great atmosphere in a irish style bar . We were a group of 10 people we all ate food and everyone enjoyed the quality of the food served. A great selection of irish beers . Wine and spirits would recommend trying the jack russel bar out. Many thanks to the bar staff on duty truly a great day.

It was quiet when I was there (afternoon) and the staff were friendly. Guinness was good but expensive at £4.90 a pint. A typical venue for the younger (under 45) element to enjoy.

4 and a half stars, had Sunday lunch, first time visitor. Two mega slices of beef, like two thin steaks, well cooked and extremely tender. Nice veg although slightly too al dente, good gravy and they provided an extra little jug, the meat could have kept a lumberjack going for a week, treemendous.

Surprised how quiet it was, staff nice and attentive. I guess the price was the reason it was quiet although looking at the nearby Plough prices there wasn't much difference.
