King & Captain Barbershop

Lovely friendly barbers that go the extra mile to keep their customers happy. Plus points for me, is that they spend time cutting my son's hair, not in and out in 10 mins they actually spend the time to do it right, attention to detail is spot on. I also really like the fact you can book an appointment, not all of us Mums have the time to wait sometimes 1 hours + for hair cut, so even though it cost a bit more the time saved in my busy life its well worth the extra pennies.

Best barbers in a 50 mile radius. It is exactly what you want when you go to a barbers. It's comfortable, friendly, and actually encourages a sense of community. Most of all the skills of the barbers are second to none. I personally have very awkward hair to cut and these guys do a great job every time

The staff are very polite, understanding, they listen and have a lot of patience. With autistic boys whom of which are touch, noise, taste and smell sensitive. They do an excellent job. My boys will not go to any one else. Sure they get busy even when you book appointments, like everywhere else that does. They are fair and do there best to see you. It also shows how good of a barbers they are. I would highly recommend. Even corrected a haircut gone wrong when my son's hair was well and truly butchered by another barbers not far away. (Not mentioning names.)

Best barbers ever 🤗👏🙌 my son and husband have been coming to King and Captain for a few years now. They are brilliant and patient with children, always a high standard haircut. The two shops are great, great staff and management. Always go above and beyond. My son says he's famous now because he appears in their shop window on their advertising boards with his perm 😍💈xxx

I went for a standerd haircut and it was quick and good the staff member was lovely and talkative and wished me a happy birthday and spared my by 50p do recommend this place

Don't even waste your time going. Rang up at 10 for an appointment for my 1 year old, they said yeah come for 1130. Drove half an hour to get there and arrived at 1120. Lady said won't be long take a seat. She finished the previous customer and then said sorry I'm running 40 minutes behind. Do you want to wait or come back. 40 minutes! Can't expect a 1 year old to wait 40 minutes. I explained i had booked and live half hour away so no time to go and come back. She than said well her next customer would take 40 minutes. How ridiculous. Why not trim my lads hair which would have taken all of 10 mins and then do her longer job. Has common sense completely gone out the window? Totally waste of my time and fuel. What a joke of a place
