I booked a last minute appointment for my son having had his hair cut here previously. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. It’s 1:40am and I am still sitting here crying over how short he has cut my sons hair. We agreed the same style hair he had but a bit shorter so it wasn’t round his ears and was even all the way around. He showed me the amount he was going to cut off, I said it was fine. He cut off almost three times as much as we agreed and my sons once curly hair now does not have one single curl in. I know it’ll grow back and it’s not the end of the world but it’s really not what I asked for and all I could do was stand and watch as he kept cutting and cutting and cutting. I’m not sure what the obsession is with barbers wanting to cut everyone’s hair so short or do a skin fade, not everyone wants that style hair. The lady before done a lovely job neatening his long hair up and done it exactly how I wanted. He knew I didn’t like it as my only words where “it’ll grow back”. Barber himself was a lovely guy and I would definitely recommend him for children's hair in general as he has a lovely manner. Salon was a mess which would have taken two seconds to sweep before starting. People are really friendly which is another reason I went back!

Always get a good hair cut at a reasonable price. Since they've been using the booking app (which I find really useful) it's also a lot faster!

That was awkward!!! I booked 'last minute' and once I arrived I got a blank look and asked had I booked. Once I said I had and who with they did not look happy to find out this news. Once i sat down they went in to the staff room (which was right next to where I was sat) to check the booking, once seen it was followed by the biggest sigh. If I knew they didnt want my business I would of gone elsewhere. This was followed by a whole cut in silence.... Awkward!
As for the cut ive had worse but definitely had better.

first - and last visit to this barber - shop empty - asked if I had an appointment - no - then went into staff room - came out - showed me to a chair - hair already all around it on the floor - poor cut by woman who spoke most of the time to colleague - rarely me - was cheap though !!! -

First haircut after lockdown and what can I say, magnificent warm welcome, service with a smile (I think behind the mask) and a great haircut to boot. With the booking service, there's no waiting around and prices are ridiculously cheap. (No this isn't a paid review, I'm just very happy with my first haircut in 3 months!)
