Abi's Barbers

I quit my local barbers and travel from far to come here. Absolutely worth it! Friendly and chilled environment. Never once did they flop cutting my hair. You get what you ask for from these guys. They genuinely put passion into cutting your hair. ☺️

I was a fairly regular Customer.....until today I guess. Was sitting and awaiting at front of the barber for 2 HOURS. They were busy. Cool. I got it. While I understand he was busy, I don't understand why he made a hair cut to two guys first, who came after me. I ended up with no hair cut and 2 hours lost. No comments.

Moving to the neighbourhood. Lovely place. Clean spacious and well lit. Smells great inside. Looks a bit too good for that end of Croydon!

Met the man himself (Abi). Made to feel comfortable and welcome, asked and delivered. No attitude, no problems. Good conversation,

Abi saw I was happy to talk so rapport was built. This is not one of those places where the hairdressers spends the day talking about their problems or talks to other people whilst working on you. Abi focused on me and was really relaxed.

The place is clean and the service is great.

This is my new barbershop! I will be back.

I was recommended to go to Abi's by my good friend Sandeep, as i was struggling to get a good haircut.
Abi's gave me the exact haircut that i was looking for. Its very hard to find a good barber who understands what haircut you exactly want or the hairstyle style you'd like to maintain.
A good haircut makes me feel so good :)
I'm looking forward for my next session, this time i want my beard trimmed too, (keep growing them for a while)

Fantastic barbershop!! My 9 year old son had his haircut and it looks amazing!! My son has ADHD and Autism and can be very hypo but he stayed calm throughout the cut! Very clean and tidy shop and staff. We will definitely be going back! I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Very cheap also as he had cut and style all for 9 pounds. Thank you Abi's!!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I went to this barbers this morning for a very simple trim and the guy basically brushed out my fringe and chopped it in a straight line and brushed it over to the side as though that's good enough and cut it way to short. When I explained what I did not like about my fringe multiple times he stared at me blankly like he didn't have a clue what I was talking about and now I am home and fed da e brushed it it seems there's a small tuft of long hair at the back. So basically that was 12 and half an hour wasted

Worst experience ever.I took my 4yr old son there around 4pm. I was a regular customer and he knows my son is special need who has autism. As soon as he saw me he told me you will have to wait a long time today as he is not going to sit still and he refuse to cut his hair. His colleague was with another client. He made me wait for 1hr 20mins for kept taking other clients and acted as if he was annoyed when my son started moving around as he couldn't wait any longer. Because its was around 5pm and just near to my house. Luckily I didn't break his face and tried to calm me as I had to cut my son hair for a birthday party.please ladies and gentlemen beware if yu have special need kids

My first visit- hair dresser was Casa. It was a good experience. Good conversation and coordination at each step of the process. So planned to go there everytime.

Second visit- some other dresser. He behaved more like a trimmer operator than a hair designer. When I showed a sample right sided pic, he presumed the left side without partition without asking me and finished the process.but when I asked whether he is gonna make partition on left, he said, the process is complete. And I have changed my mind at later stage. When i asked whether trimming my beard will suit for my hair, he said, its upto me to decide as i keep changing my mind. Then I felt so alienated at that shop. So, just left as he doesn't deserve my time and energy.

So no more Abi. I have made up my mind - not to go there hereafter.
