Hands down the best barber shop in Newport if not Wales! Chris is a top bloke and always makes an effort to make you feel welcome. The shop itself has an excellent atmosphere and cool aesthetic. The haircut I get is always exactly what I’ve asked for and faultless. The beard trim I get is also ‘a proper beard trim’ not a quick clipper job like you get in most other barbers. Would recommend to anyone!

2 simple words OUTSTANDING & PROFESSIONAL. Had a fresh trim yesterday at Lamberts and its was 1st class. Safe to say this will be my new barbers from here on in. Simple to book, great correspondence. I arrived on time greeted with a smile and had a great experience. Not only was my hair cut perfectly the banter and chat was first rate. I got some great adivse on my beard care and came away extremely happy. See you again fella. Also i have to say the decor was amazing 100% how a barber shop should be. First time visit to a barbers in decades as always cut my own hair and beard. Found Lamberts after Google search and glad I did. Chris is very professional and knowledgeable, not to mention a really nice guy too. Transformed my beard. Already looking to book my next appointment.

Brilliant service and a great barber. Criss is skilled at what he does and it makes look like an art form. Ive never had any issues with appointments or my cut and he is the only barber in Newport that I will trust with my beard. Also I recommend checking out his beard balms they are amazing!

Easily the best barber in Newport and surrounding areas - prior to Covid the shop would always be full of people (including myself) willing to wait a good few hours for a fresh cut and beard trim - which says it all. Criss is a top bloke and gives 100% to every cut he does (even back when there might have been 10 people waiting in the queue) he is a true professional and happy to give advice when it comes to beards/haircuts. Wouldn’t consider going anywhere else 🙌🏻 The beard butters he makes himself are also top quality and smell incredible. There’s a reason why he’s got so many loyal customers.

Hair cuts are on point and the attention to detail is immaculate, I never let anyone touch my beard before I seen criss working his magic on others now it looks better than ever, I would 100% recommend lamberts barber shop to everyone and anyone. Classic Barbering at its finest.
