Hepburn’s Salon

I went to Hepburns to have acrylics, an eyebrow wax and eye lash extensions and received excellent service. I was able to pick my nail design and was so happy with how all of the colours turned out. Julie was professional and friendly, she put me at ease throughout all of my treatments. Really pleased with my extensions, they look so lovely. I haven’t had lashes before and I’m so glad I went there for my first extensions as the experience and end product was just fantastic. Have rebooked for next month!

The woman, Julie, who did my industrial piercing did a very botched job.
My ear was bleeding heavily every time I took my shirt off or slept on it for about 2 weeks, it also got Infected soon after the piercing, it didn't feel very professional at all as it seemed like she wanted to get it done and get me out asap.
I took all the necessary aftercare that I was provided with so it wasn't down to personal care, this was blatantly a bad move.
Maybe she is inexperienced in piercing as she mainly does feminine care treatments, but if that's the case don't advertise it if you can't do it!
Initially it was okay, so I gave no negative feedback but after attempting to persevere with the pain and discomfort it just got worse and worse and bled more and more. I gave up and took it out of my ear.

I don't recommend going here for piercings at all, for other treatments I'm not sure it would probably be fine.

Horrible people. An honest mistake was made BY THEM on my booking and they charged me £30 for not turning up when they cancelled on me.

I had the most amazing massage this afternoon with Andreia. Not only is she an incredible masseuse but also just a lovely lovely woman. Shall be returning soon!

I had my labret and nose pierced and I can honestly say I will never go anywhere else! Julie is amazing, puts you at ease and is very professional. The salon itself is extremely clean and of high standards. Julie went out of her way to make sure my experience was a great one!

Julie Connolly was the joint owner of a company called Cotswold construction who built an extension for me, which failed building regulations and then they refused to correct it. They ignored most of my calls and emails despite having seen two reports of how the work was directly responsible for the failure, they quickly liquidated the business so they didn't have to be responsible for the work. We are now stuck with a a house we cannot sell and stand to loose up to £110,000.

Since I received many messages from other people who alleged have fallen victim. One woman claims she was burnt so badly in this salon she was in hospital for weeks and now alleged permanently scarred and Julie refused any kind of compensation until she was taken to court.

I will let the readers decide whether its safe to use the services of these kind of operators especially with your body

I have been using this salon for years and couldn't have asked for a better lash tech or agony aunt at the same time! 😅
Julie's work is always up to a high standard, giving me the full lash look I always ask for, in a beautiful and sanitary salon!
Will carry on taking my business to Julie as well as recommend to anyone I can as her work deserves awards and she has a heart of gold!

The woman Julie Connolly who owns this salon and her husband Paul owe me a large sum of money for bodging up my extension that won’t pass building control it’s so bad I stand to loose £85,000! Full details to follow next Friday unless I get the refund that’s due. And then I can remove this review and leave a positive one that the issue was rectified.
