A fab little salon in the heart of Ashby. Very friendly and kind staff. Always had a great experience. Prices are about right and the place is clean and warm and has a lovely atmosphere. Do try it if you haven't been before. I love it

My wife loves the place she goes in to have her nails done the salon is on main street where there are many other shops and bars and specsaver plus there is a market day on the road on Fridays and a small one on Tuesday it is all straight across the road from argos

The staff never fail to go above and beyond with all treatments my lashes and nails always look perfect

I love coming here to get my nails done, the girls are lovely, so friendly and make you feel so relaxed. They are all so professional and offer great customer care. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for beauty treatments. I can’t recommend them enough.

Today I booked in as normal for my nails but also booked a facial with Kendal, it was the best facial I have ever had and will be definitely be having another one, my skin feels wonderful!

Today I went to get my eyebrows laminated at Uruku and I was not very pleased with the results.

I have been to Uruku for many other treatments before so I trusted them however, my eyebrows were black bearing in mind my hair is blonde and they looked not natural and messy with no shape to them. They were definitely not what I would call a brow lamination and I don’t even think the girl who did the treatment was happy with her work. I found it painful and difficult to remove the dye when i went home as well.

Honestly Uruku is a lovely place for treatments such as manicures or pedicures but I just don’t think the brow lamination treatment was sadly for me and I would recommend people have a think about it before having the treatment.

I have been visiting Uruka for years and have had a number of different treatments that have always been excellent but I felt the need to write a review today as I had a treatment with Sarah yesterday a massage. I go there regularly as I tend to get a lot of tension built up in my shoulders and back but after yesterday’s massage I feel amazing she uses a lot of pressure and really gets to the knots today my shoulders feel so loose and I slept amazing last night so thank you Sarah.
