I booked Lipstick and Curl for my wedding hair and make up, completed by Amanda. Despite a pandemic reschedule, everything else went to plan with the booking. Amanda reviewed my conceptual ideas in advance, came to conduct a trial with me in advance so we could test them out and then worked with me to make some adjustments for the day itself. Amanda was lovely to have with us on the morning of the wedding, completing hair and makeup for my mum first, and then taking care of me. All the communication with the team was great throughout - very professional and accommodating - as well as with Amanda on the day. It definitely contributed to us having a great day!

For my wedding day, I had a very specific vintage look, and I wanted the red lips, dark eyes, porcelain skin and curled hair to match. I had made my way through several make up artist trials till I found Amanda at Lipstick and Curls and I was Delighted. She was the one. She knew immediately what I was after, her product knowledge and skill of application was perfect, her attention to detail and experience was evident and I felt extremely confident in her hands. I'd never had my short hair curled before, but we tried it and Amanda made it look so awesome. I booked her immediately after the trial, and on my wedding morning, she arrived cheerfully with plenty of time, and kept me calm, cool and joyful. My make up and hair looked bright and fresh all day long, and I felt absolutely beautiful. Thank you Amanda for being an integral part of one of the best days of my life.
I know if I ever have an event in the future and I need to look incredible, I'm going to Amanda. I recommend you do too.

Hired Lipstick & curls for my wedding and they were amazing to work with and did such a great job. My wedding also had to be postponed 4 times due to COVID-19 and Amanda and the team were super understanding. On the day, we had Kate and she was amazing. Really listened to what I wanted as well as my bridesmaids and was able to adapt her style. She also used top quality products from fantastic brands so it felt special.

Lipstick and curls were absolutely fantastic and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a company to do their hair and make-up for the big day! They were incredibly accommodating to all requests and helpful when my partner and I had to change our wedding date due to the pandemic. I had bridal hair and make up done along with 5 bridesmaids and mother of the bride hair and make-up , Alison and Nina done a absolutely amazing job getting us all ready for the big day. They both were so lovely and talented, I was so pleased with the outcome and had we all had a great morning with them - Thank you all x

Ema from Lipstick & Curls did my hair and makeup for my wedding, and I loved it. It lasted all day and was exactly the vintage look I had hoped for. She was also a great person to have around when I was getting ready and even helped me into my dress and kept us all to time! Brilliant.

Absolutely amazing! Amanda is extremely talented, her make up and hair skills are second to none. The vintage bride look I asked for for nailed straight away during our trial. On the big day Amanda was so professional and lovely. I was at ease and everyone noted how lovely my hair and make up looked - even though it was 34 degrees that day (held up so well!) Thank you for making our special day even more perfect. I’ve always wanted a vintage glow up and I got one! Couldn’t recommend more.

Lipstick and Curls was really lovely to work with! Easy to book both my wedding date and my trial. Diana was so lovely - great to talk to, great at matching my makeup to something that looked natural to me, and beautiful hair that was everything I hoped for. I had a great experience and felt beautiful on my wedding day :)

I had the lovely Amanda do my hair and makeup for my wedding in September and she was absolutely brilliant. Professional, friendly and really talented.
At my hair and make up trial before the wedding, Amanda understood exactly what I was hoping for on my wedding day and did a fab job.
My two bridesmaids are both not used to wearing makeup and we wanted them to have quite a natural look, which I think Amanda did a great job with.
The hair and makeup lasted perfectly all day - including dancing all night long!
I was also really pleased that Amanda uses all vegan and cruelty-free make up, as this was something was looking for and not many makeup artists offer this.
I would definitely recommend Amanda from Lipstick and Curls for your wedding hair and makeup!
