Beauty Box By Maggie

I had CoolSculpting today at Beauty Box which costs £150 and takes about an hour. I travelled about 1.5hrs to get to the salon. It looked very nice on the inside and the receptionist was friendly and welcoming.
They have facilities for Coffee and Water but I wasn't offered any while I waited.
I was treated by Magda, she was friendly and chatty, but she wasn't professional and the actual procedure wasn't done correctly according to how other practitioners and clinical studies describe the process.

There was little to no discussion or examination of the area being treated before my treatment. She didn't say 'Hi' or introduce herself beforehand just told me to go into the room.

She said the attachment they use at the salon "is only for very fat people" so she wasn't sure it would even work on me, even though other clinics say that it is ideal to get this done when you are close to your target weight and I am 32% body fat so I have enough for the treatment.
It would have been better to mention this on the website before I travelled so far but it's a a very cheap price for this procedure and their Instagram describes the salon as "Award Winning" so I thought it was worth it.

The machine wasn't set to the correct temperature for fat freezing ( all practitioners recommend -11C and I could see on the machine it was set to 0C but Real Temp was between -1-4C for the treatment) and when I asked if it would get colder she said she would only set it colder on the second treatment but was already recommending I don't get Coolsculpting again because their machine wasn't suitable, so basically I paid to not have it done correctly so I don't understand how I will see any results unless I get a second treatment.

Also most people say to maximise the results you should massage the area in the 5 minutes after application before it warms up to agitate the fat cells but she never massaged me at all during the whole session even when I asked about it.

She wasn't in the room for the majority of the time and just left me holding the machine on myself and only came in to adjust the placement once the timer ran out and to check on me and tell me I should get a different treatment because this one won't work.

I can’t recommend Beauty Box by Maggie enough. Today I’ve traveled 3 hours to attend my appointment for fat dissolving injections. Beauty box was recommended to me by a friend who lives near by when I was discussing wanting treatment and I am so glad I made the journey. I have now been 3 times for different procedures and will never use anywhere else. Thanks for looking after me again 💕

I had facial, filler and botox done at this amazing place. The staff is very professional and efficient at what they do. The results I had were terrific and that is why I keep coming back to this place, even though I live a bit of a trek away ! I am very happy to have found Beauty Box By Maggie as my go to beauty provider ! :)

Wow this place is amazing! I had 8 small pimples around my nose and cheeks. I popped in and spoke to Maggie who was friendly and professional. She said no problem, I can remove them all right now. She removed them there and then with no pain. I am very very happy. Also the receptionist Jodie was very friendly and welcoming. Thankyou so much x x

Love this place. Staff are very welcoming, friendly and professional. The salon appears clean and hygienic. I’m tend to have regular Botox treatments and I’m always happy with the outcome. Great value too

Another great trip down to Beauty Box by Maggie. Whilst having my treatment we chatted about a couple of treatments im interested in and also some things which may help me. As always Maggie went above and beyond to go through things and show me some suggestions. Always worth the trip. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Was early but kindly seen early.

I had botox done by Magda, she is super lovely, makes the injections efficiently and painlessly. I travel 5 miles to this salon, despite having beauticians in my area. Those girls are great at what they are doing and prices are reasonable too. Highly recommend.

I come here from north London always for my treatment as it is the only clinic I have discovered that does a fab treatment with results and at the BEST prices so I don’t mind my train ride of 1.5 hours because it’s worth it! If you want results and I mean proper results not half then I recommend. A great amount of treatments for everyone! I will always come here!
