Friendly staff and very reasonably priced. I dropped by towards the end of the day without an appointment and they squeezed me in without any fuss. V impressed.

Absolutely the worst threading in my life! Told exactly that I want to keep my eyes brows big and trying to have it big, I want just a bit shape and asked a few times if she understood. The women who done my Threading repeated yes, keep it big and large. Then she totally reshaped it, made it totally thin, and make it so short as is cut in the middle! I told her she spilt there a lots and I told her I want it just a bit and stupidly even paid for it. I can’t see my face as I am so upset.

I have always enjoyed visiting this place and I am very happy with every treatment I have received. Staff are also fantastic. Thank you!

Really bad results, they were busy so they couldn’t spend the right time with me so when the treatment was finished literally looked exactly the same as when I got there and the lady said it will pop up the day after. I’ve had this done multiple times and it’s results straight away. I complained and she still charged me.
Very bad, if you can’t cope with customers don’t take any more and make sure you do the things right with the ones that you already have!

I was reflecting today about how effective a treatment I got in 2019(!) at Alternatives was for me. The place is small but well staffed with friendly, expert beauticians. The lovely woman who did my advanced electrolysis vein removal treatment put me at ease with her knowledge, gave me advice for other skin complaints (which weren't upselling their own services) and, most importantly, removed a very prominent, eight-year-old broken vein on my nose permanently and with no fuss. I had spent 100s of pounds at a well-known chain clinic and the vein always came back. Almost two years after my Alternatives treatment, it hasn't come back. Worth every penny. Now I'm cruising their treatments wondering what else they can fix... 🤭

I have been a customer of Alternatives since 2011 and have always liked it. The services I use the most are hot wax, full body massages and eyebrow threading. The staff are polite and professional. I have recommended this place to several of my friends.
