Zahra hair and beauty salon

This hair salon was very friendly and professional. Zahra gave me a fantastic wash, treatment, cut and blow-dry. She managed to achieve the exact style I wanted (cut my very long waist length hair down to a long bob) and took great care and effort to ensure I was happy. A great hijab friendly salon, highly recommended.

I’m so pleased and happy with my experience at Zahra’s Hair and Beauty salon. With nothing besides a picture and a vague idea of what I wanted, Zahra and her team were able to achieve the perfect hair style and colour for me. A mix of a balayage and highlights, Zahra and her team were very invested in getting me the exact colour I wanted. My experience was very professional, the environment was very friendly and both the ladies working there and having their hair done were lovely. I visited alongside my sister and cousin, who are both hijab wearing women and the salon was very accommodating to this (this is a ladies only salon). Definitely a 10/10 experience and would visit again, a week later and after washing my hair it’s never felt so smooth and manageable. I was able to straighten my very thick curly hair with little to no trouble. Thank you!

today, I got my hair done and I’m absolutely in love with my hair and I’m happy with the service I received. Zahra was fun friendly and caring. Ladies go get your hair and makeup done.10/10 I recommend it

I came here unsure of what to get and trusted my hairdresser Zahra to do what she thought looked best. I was amazed by her talent and left the salon extremely happy. I will definitely be back for future appointments. Highly recommend.

That was the worst experience I have ever had in my entire life with the poor customer service I have received! I have seen the offer for £37 for balayage blow dry and cut on GROUPON I have decided to try the services at this salon.

SAVE YOURSELF AND DO NOT TRY THIS SERVICES.
WASTE OF MONEY, WASTE OF TIME, WASTE OF YOUR HAIR.

After arriving to my scheduled appointment, Nuray has taken me down at the back of the salon saying she "needs to check my hair" - in reality she was just saying that on top what I have already paid on GROUPON, I would need to pay additional £120 as my hair "has more job to do" of course no card payments, all cash in hand. As I have paid on GROUPON already, and wasted my time to come, I decided to have my hair done with Nuray.

Additional £120 wasn't said anywhere on GROUPON, just to mention.

When I said to Nuray I want balayage not highlights she has insisted that my hair would look much better that way, so Nuray has started the whole process, cutting my hair to the length I did not ask, as she was insisting for them to being shorter due to being damaged, pulling my hair to much, and asking me to sit in weird positions with my head completely down for some time.
Bleaching process went I guess wrong, as I had very very light ends.
When my hair were washed, she had a assistant which helped her, as my hair got all tangled together and stack to each other. All my face was wet and my back, trying to turn it to a joke as "shower for free".

When the toner was put on my hair, she have wrapped my head in clean flim, and have put me under the hairdryer, it was very uncomfortable and my scalp was feeling extremely hot.

Not to mention that the whole professionalism of this salon is below low, as some customers where eating chicken next to me, biscuits all over the mirrors where customers sits this is definitely not what you wanna see at the hair salon come on!
When asked for other services they are offering, they really couldn't be bothered to even pass me the leaflet with the information's, eventually one of the ladies has passed me it.

The blow dry at first was too much, Nuray has wrapped my hair around a lot of roll on brushes, which was a bit difficult to sit with, after unwrapping my hair from them brushes the blow dry was not what I asked, so then when I said it is too much for me, she then changed the blow dry to slightly better - but I had to sit with my head down entire process and she was pulling my hair VERY ROUGHLY.

All payment was at the front of the salon, as Nuray was saying she doesn't want her coworkers to see how much she is charging for the service received.

I was quite happy at first with my hair, until I have straightened them few days later.

OH MY GOSH!

My hair were uneven on both sides, when I have messaged Nuray about this issue, she has immediately accused me of "doing something to my hair" and to not "play white", I have wasted money, time, and my hair to this salon, and I have had received a VERY LOW customer service from Nuray, as she have kept accusing me of doing something to my hair.
The attitude of this lady is just leaving you with questions, very unprofessional, and rude.

I have ended up at another salon getting my hair FIXED, as I looked like
a cooking pan!! I have paid additional £45 for it, of course after addressing this issue to Nuray, she has replied saying "so funny", and not to expect any refund from her, then she changed her story to me misunderstanding her intention, as she apparently have asked me to come to her salon so she could see the hair, which was indeed but just after me messaging her that I went somewhere else to get this FIXED.

I'm attaching the photos of me just after my hair was done blow dry with Nuray, and my hair after straightening them at home.

I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS SALON.
AVOID IT AS MUCH AS YOU CAN, NOT WORTH ANY PENNY
UNLESS YOU WANT TO HAVE BAD DAY - THEN CHOOSE THIS SALON.

I came to the salon to get a hair colour I wanted for such a long time, I showed Zahra a few pictures and she did my hair so well! Very happy with the experience and result. Thank you!
