Beauty Suite

As I went to pay for my upper lip threading, the lady refused to take FIVE 2p coins (I needed a final 10p) because it was ‘too many coppers’?!?!
Since when did businesses refuse MONEY?!
I was rudely told that ‘the boss doesn’t accept this’.
I’m sure it is not legal to refuse 2p coins….
Honestly, a dreadful experience and I shall not be returning.

I have been going to beauty suite for the last few years and every time I go I have had great service and experience. Happy is the person I always go to for eyebrow threading and waxing she is brilliant at her job and aways goes above and beyond to cater for my needs. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this place. Thanks

It has taken me a while to write this review as I wasn't going to; but I have realised that the experiences I had were not nice and I feel it's important to share them.

I went in for a full body wax on 2 occasions and was told on both occasions that due to the excessive amount of hair I had, I would be charged £5 extra for the service.

I felt so embarrassed that all I wanted to do was pay and leave.

I don't know what possessed me to go back but I did on another occasion, and the person who waxed me(same person as the first time), said that it was unhygienic to let hair grow long and that I should shave/trim a little before I went back. This defeats the point of going for a wax! Then again she said she will charge me an extra £5.

I literally have never felt so degraded and deflated. I felt so conscious that I didn't go back there for waxing.

Thinking about it now, I wish I had stood up for myself and declined the extra charge, but I felt so embarrassed, I didn't want to talk about it.

For women that provide services to other women, it's absolutely disgusting the way they made me feel. There was no respect or consideration!

I am not a regular customer and will not be going back there! I think the staff need to be more respectful and keep their opinions to themselves. Some women don't like hair removal and that is their choice. It was unfair that I was judged and treated in this way, especially since I was in such a vulnerable position!!

I have been going here for my eyebrow threading and they are the best. However the customer service especially Paula is very rude and refused to speak to me when I had a issue. Her attitude is disgusting and so is her behaviour. She is extremely nasty and does not know how to treat her customers.

Always get my keratin done here and my hair comes out sooooo nice.

I've very dry and frizzy curls. And this salon always get it smooth and soft.

Been seeing Jo for 25years! Lived abroad and have always returned for a hair cut, restyle or color. She knows her trade and you can thoroughly trust her judgement.
The beauty team are amazing.. Joyti and Jane are my favourite people!

Usually only come here for eyebrow threading. I try to book Happy as she does a lovely job of my eyebrows. Salon looks clean since they had a makeover and I hope that they practice good hygiene with their towels/equipment. Owner is always friendly.

I've been coming here for about 13 years, best place for threading and waxing. Staff are super nice and efficient. I won't go anywhere else.
