Visited with my friend to have our nails done. I wasn’t greeted or acknowledged when I arrived but was offered a water or coffee. The service was quite friendly and the finish was okay but a day later our gel nails chipped.. They were helpful to fit me back in, but when I returned I wasn’t offered a drink and the gels were filed off not soaked. My friend was told excuses like it might be the colour or the sun etc..
Our nails chipped again a couple days later..
I would also expect the same service when I have them redone, as it is an inconvenience and having your nails done is time consuming. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend gel nails.

Best eyelash extensions in Sussex. They look great and last very long time.
Had my nails done 3 weeks ago and they still look good too

Brilliant salon for men and women nice to be within a short walking distance. Highly recommended for massages and I know they do nails etc for ladies. Great location with a few free customer parking spaces out the front. Will be back. Thank you

Yvonne is an amazing therapist and a lovely person. The salon is really clean and tastefully decorated. All the treatments I have had were great. The deluxe pedicure is sublime.
I highly recommend

I booked in for an eyebrow wax, on arrival I was ushered over to a chair in the salon and explained that I just wanted a tidy up. The therapist doing my eyebrows asked me no further questions other than if I am usually ok with waxing. She did not explain the type of wax they used or asked if the temperature was ok at any point. I found the waxing unusually painful and when I checked the end result I could see that the therapist had removed most of the thickest part of my brows by waxing straight down the middle leaving them wonky and really thin.
I explained that I was quite shocked by the end result and the therapist said that perhaps she should have talked to me more first. She offered to get the manager but I just wanted to leave. She did not charge me for the appointment. When I got home I had wax stuck in my hair and lots of hairs left below what was left of my eyebrows. I am incredibly disappointed with the service I received and unfortunately would not recommend this salon.

I’ve been coming to this salon for a while now for their beauty services and have loved them so far. However, I recently used the hair services and booked in for a balayage and have been left extremely disappointed. When my hair was finished it looked nice from the front but the salon is not set up to allow you to see the back of your hair. I was very quickly shown a photo of the back of my head which I now realise was taken with my hair styled very particularly. When I got home I realised just how badly the balayage had been done with my hair clearly split with bold lines and poor transition between the brown and blonde sections. As you can see from these photos, I paid a large amount of money only for my hair to end up looking like bad regrowth rather than a balayage. When I messaged the salon I was told “it does look like a balayage”, which is shocking to hear as I am sure they would not post these photos on their website to advertise the salon. Unfortunately, I do not have time to get this fixed before I go on holiday for 2 weeks so will have to pay even more money to have this horrific job fixed while I am away. When going to a professional salon for a balayage the end result should be much better than this one which looks like a poor home attempt.

I've been coming to Sally for my TGB gel nails since August last year, after a poor experience at a different Burgess Hill salon. I have BIAB builder gel over my natural nails to keep them strong and TGB colour over the top. Sally is friendly and professional, recreating designs I find online or in today's case "something neutral but not boring " as I return to the office. Reasonably priced too and with free parking onsite and nearby.
