The Lemon Tree

Have been coming to the salon for over five years (the only place I trust to cut my hair the way I want it) and wouldn't think about going anywhere else. For me it's on the other side of town but it's definitely worth the trip.

The staff have never been anything but welcoming and accomodating to myself and my eldest son (when he has his hair cut).

Unfortunately it seems that someone on Google reviews has been trolling the salon and a few members of staff in a hateful manor, as well as other sites. I can't understand why someone would put that much effort in to being hateful. I do hope that it doesn't affect the salon or their staff.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I've just had my hair done by Sian and I couldn't be more in love. She's taken me from awful grown out roots to platinum blonde! Honestly the best experience I have had in a hairdressers! Sian was so professional and explained everything she was doing to me! The other ladies in the salon were so kind and welcoming too! Couldn't reccomend Thyme at the lemon tree any more than I already do!

Great hairdressers, highly recommend it. Caroline is my stylist here and i highly recommend her too.
Easy to park here and it is on a bus route too with the stop right outside.

UPDATE FEB 2022:- Still highly recommend this hairdressers and Caroline too.
The salon has recently been decorated and looks fresh, crisp and modern yet retaining the warm welcoming vibe that I like. 👍🏻❤

If you want highlights to lighten over where you may have previously darker colour do NOT attend this salon! Left with a shockingly bad set of highlights with 2cm of regrowth already, areas of where the packets have slipped and the colour has bled! Yes they offered to TRY and correct it but the explanation of how was rubbish and the same person who did such a bodge job was the one to "fix it!!!" Manager texted me but didn't even come over to have a look herself when I came back in despite being in the shop! Refused to give me a full refund due to the cost of their products!! How about my time and money and the fact i now have to pay someone to fix it! This salon may be ok for a simple cut and colour but if you need something more complex this is not the place!!!

Been using this place for a few Years, Was taken over last year and some nice clean changes to the Salon.
Staff are helpful and welcoming and a good atmosphere, cater for Men’s Cuts and open late evenings during the week this is a big plus as majority of us have no time in the day due to work commitments.

I have been going to this hairdressers for a few years now. It is local to me and I have always been happy with the way my hair has been coloured, styled etc and prices are very reasonable. There is parking outside the shop which is a bonus. Staff are very friendly.
