Nice little place and Jessica is lovely aswell. I've had brow lamination and a dermaplane with a peel brilliant results. I've re booked for the brow lamination and a lash lift. Great prices and very knowledgeable. If you don't need a treatment they will tell you that you don't need it and not just do it cause they want the money. Highly recommended well worth the travelling.
I visited this salon after lockdown, and before seeing the Trichologist.
I wanted something gentle for my hair colour- wise to disguise the way my hair looked, to boost my confidence and self esteem. The lady took a sample of my hair for testing, and said I had Metallic Salts present in my hair, and that it was bubbling/frizzing in the solution.
The Trichologist confirmed a diagnosis, but also confirmed in a test that there was no 'Metallic Salts' present, so the lady here lied to me, even saying about another hairdresser (who did not believe this, and carried out the same test to be negative, as did a couple of other salons) she asked me " Did the stylist leave the strand test for the correct amount of processing time?
According to the Trichologist Metallic Salts are not used very often, basically telling me what they are in. This is why its not really tested in salons, but he could tell Just by looking at my hair ( as did other hairdressers) that this was not the case.
Sometimes hairdressers use it as an excuse for something a client may have used. This also was said to my friends daughter, when probably she may not have had them in, unless she used a henna based dye.
Just wish some salons would be honest to their clients, I started to think that MS had probably reacted when I've had colours in the past, hence why the poor condition.
I've now found a salon I can trust, and slowly my hair should recover from a condition I was diagnosed with.
