Beauty Temple Mapperley

Came for a bubbly pedicure. Salon and staff were lovely. The only downside is the pedicure chairs seem to be a little low to the floor so it makes it quite awkward and difficult to hold my leg up while getting my feet done. Just couldn't fully relax as was having to hold each leg up.

I have naturally really awful nails that are short and weak, but Sammy has done a brilliant job to make them strong, longer and pretty looking! I’ve always had trouble with the gel lifting also but since I’ve been seeing Sammy my nails last for ages! She also always has really fun, creative ideas for nail art. Here’s an example of the latest.

I had another great appointment with Sammy for hard gel infills (I go in every 3-4 weeks). I actively look forward to coming in and seeing her every few weeks. She's a true professional, her work is always top quality and you can tell from the way she speaks that she knows her craft. She always makes my nails look beautiful as well and has a good eye and helps me pick what to have each time! She's also generally a really lovely person and I love sitting and chatting with her.

I recently visited Sammy at the Mapperley salon to have gel extensions for my wedding abroad. Sammy did an incredible job, they were perfect, so neat and exactly what I wanted. I was a bit worried that they wouldn’t survive the week abroad before our wedding (having had issues in the past with lifting) but they still looked as good on the day and lasted for weeks 😀
I recently returned to Sammy for gel infills as I was so happy with my nails. She is a pleasure to speak to and I looked forward to my appointment. It is clear Sammy has a lot of experience and enjoys her work.

Really friendly staff, as soon as I came in I was offered a drink, and a comfortable place to wait (I was early as per normal!).
I had Builder in a bottle infill with Sammy and she did a beautiful job. I didn’t really know what colour to go for so I said she could do as she liked. She showed me an idea and it’s great. Look at the cute flowers!

Can I just have a special shout-out to Sammy for some amazing nails. She always does an amazing job, always up for a challenge, always polite and friendly. She’s also up for a good natter as well. Pic of most recent and my holiday nails (so please excuse the massive ice cream!)

Katie did a good job with the way she dyed and cut my hair. She was able to cut my hair with the style that I have showed her. She was careful on the way she shampoo and blow dry my hair. Everything was a nice experience. Though I lived overseas and come to UK every 3 months, definitely will come back and look for her to do my hair again. Thank you so much😊
