So Be....

Arrived just before appointment at 1pm. Just after 1.30pm they sit me down to start doing my hair, I asked for full head of blonde highlights but like ombre, not starting from the root as I wanted them to fade into the root gradually. Showed them a picture just in case that didn't make sense. They had recommended leaving the top section of hair out so you couldn't see where the highlights started, I knew this wasn't going to get the effect I wanted but it would be close enough, didn't want to push them to do something they don't know how to do, in case it looked even worse. One girl did one side (receptionist) and one trainee did other side, the trainee took 20 mins longer to put the foils in. It wasn't until 3.30pm that they decided to take the foils out (1 and half hours after they'd finished putting foils in)!
Apparently my hair wasn't taking the colour, so the woman who normally did 2 days a week but had been managing the place instead for a while decided to get the blow drier on them. She asked me what I thought once it had been blow dried and I stated the obvious - that it looked no different to when I came in. She became defensive and lifted up half of my hair, and said look you can see they've died it. Shame I don't wear my hair a bit up a bit down, but even then it's nothing like I asked for as it just looks like my hairs been lightened by a shade, not highlighted.
Went into work the next day and a lad asked if I'd died my hair, when I asked how he could tell, he said cos it looked darker! I've not told anyone I've been to the hairdressers as I feel stupid for not realising that trusting a groupon deal where they offered £77 reduced to £29, would mean the £29 was a complete waste of money!

After 10 minutes of arguing she offered to give me another appointment. Had a rude voicemail the day of the next app from the owner who had bothered to come in this time asking me to call them to "discuss exactly what I expect from them before I come in", and she sounded pissed off with me!!
Don't waste ur money on any of their offers as you'll end up having to pay another hairdresser after to get what u want. Feel I've been thieves of my money just so they could fill a chair and give the junior (her daughter) some practise!

I have been to So Be for approx a year now. From the minute I walked in on the first appointment I knew it was the one for me. My appointment was for a colour, cut and blow dry. Everyone made me so welcome. There wasn't any boring conversation, all of the staff and customers were all having loads of laughs and fun. Sarah, Amanda, Emily and Annette are fab! Very sensitive to any scalp, hair issues you may have. I leave feeling a million times better than when I walked in and luckily my hair looks brilliant too.

A great little salon in the centre of town with easy access to other amenities. No parking on site but can park for free in the waendal leisure centre and walk across. Sarah and her team are absolutely wonderful, nothing is ever too much and they listen to all of your needs. The girls do a wonderful job. I have had my hair restyled there and will keep going back. My children now have their haircut here and enjoy the biscuit jar! Thank you Sarah, Amanda and Emily you are all super stars.

After hearing good things about this salon i was looking forwards to going here, i had a voucher as a Christmas present everytime i phoned to book I had no answer I left messages and tried to call on different occasion, but I had no reply and nobody returned my call, my voucher has now expired and no longer in use so we had to request a refund from the company dissapointed is an understatement because I was very much in need of this treatment.

Rang on Saturday to book my appointment for Wednesday this week. Turned up and the door was locked, rang the number 6 times and got no response. It’s now Friday and I haven’t even had a call back.

Staff are very friendly cut your hair just the way you ask.

The hot stone massage and facial with Amanda is just fantastic. I have been to many spas and therapists over time and can thoroughly recommend Amanda as one of the best I've had.

Lovely staff Amanda n sarah gr8 treatments more than welcoming would defo recommend gr8 prices too.
