AJ's Hair & Beauty

I went to get a brazilian keratin hair treatment for my hair and I love it! The cutomer service was brilliant and I would recommend anyone to go there as they do exactly what you want. I honestly would rate AJ's Hair and Beauty a 10/10 because I left with more than what I expected!

The staff were entertaining and did make conversation, however, I wasn't welcomed into the salon or even spoken to for the first ten minutes. After this, I was asked to help move an indoor clothes line as the woman couldn't move it herself - even though I was a customer.

I asked how much my hair would cost and I was given a price of £50, which was then upped to £53. When I was going to pay, the woman who served me looked as if she wanted to change the price to higher after I asked how much it would be, before stating 'I remember you told me £53', which is the amount I paid.

The place was messy and seemed unhygienic, as well as the staff talking unprofessionally and inappropriately.

I was never told how to maintain my hair, therefore the cornrows I had have only lasted 2 weeks! I wouldn't recommend going here unless you enjoy having an informal atmosphere whilst a stylist holds a fist full of your hair.

Very pleased with my new hairdo today. Ivana the hairdresser at AJ's have done a wonderful job today and has fully surpassed my expectations. I will be back.

I absolutely love this place! I have been getting my hair braided here for years and I couldn’t be happier - I’m always getting asked where I get my hair done, as they do such an amazing job. I am quite particular about how I like my braids done but they are professional and are always go the extra mile to ensure that I am happy with the end result.

The atmosphere is amazing and I am always welcomed with a smile. The shop has an intimate, personable feel to it. I can truly say it is always a pleasure to get my hair done at AJs.

I would deffo recommend this salon to a friend!

It's been a while for me but went and had my much missed hair extensions done. As per usual the lovely Rosemary did an awesome job I love them so much ❤️

The salon needs a good tidy up, sorry ladies just being honest. The service was great but the untidyness just let's it down. I would 100% go back but I would feel comfortable if it was clean and tidy in there.
