Tans and Hands

I've been to Tans and Hands twice now and I'm already looking forward to going back for another treatment. I've had an eyelash tint and lift and an express and I was super happy with both. The beauty therapists are absolutely lovely and great at what they do. The salon is extremely clean and the treatments are reasonably priced, couldn't recommend it enough!

Friendly staff. I had a manicure done. It wasn't particularly nice, the polish started chipping off quite quickly and there wasn't much color selection. The tech buffed my nail so hard you can see horizontal lines all the way through the polish. Topcoat application was quite sloppy, almost half of my thumb was not covered but it's fair enough for the price I guess.

I booked for a spray tan for my birthday, paid the deposit. Unfortunately due to another appointment being delayed I was late to the appointment. I explained this as I arrived and they said that they would be able to do my tan after the current client. After waiting 25 minutes and after being looked up and down by the rude lady she explained that they were closing and they didn’t have time do to my tan. Would not recommend, not a friendly salon. Go elsewhere.

Had a back massage and gel manicure. The massage was ok...room extremely cold...Not much ambience..no candles...no relaxing smells and it was very noisy. Manicure was ok nothing special ...final result I was quite happy with..the beauty therapist did her best I feel but just didn't feel it was anything special...but I will go back for a spray tan as I've heard good things about it

Don’t go there if you want a decent spray tan. Very slap dash-apply your own barrier cream and they are in such a rush they don’t give you the nozzle to dry off. Been having the same colour spray tan for over 20 years. Never been to a salon where they charge £25 and only give you one coat. It’s always two. I’ve had to apply my own tan after washing it off as it’s so pale. Don’t waste your money and go to a better quality salon where customer service is important and you don’t feel like you’re on a conveyer belt and under pressure to leave quickly.

I go here for the tan Thursdays special offer. I've had one not so great tan and wasn't given the nozzle to dry off. My second tan was much better and was given the nozzle dry off. Bit hit and miss. Service is ok nothing special but not bad either. I am happy to go here for a cheap tan. Parking is a nightmare

After an awful waxing experience elsewhere, Toyah and Katy at Tans and Hands restored my faith in waxing. A 10/10 wax without breaking the bank and made so much more comfortable by the warm and friendly staff.

After being asked to do a photo shoot to help a friend out I needed to get a tan (I'm like casper and the shoot is under gym lighting). I was firstly attracted to this place due to the top reviews on Google. Also the value for money on a Thursday.

I arrived pretty nervous and feeling a bit silly. I was met by the most professional friendly 2 members of staff anyone could ask for. I explained what I was doing to Hollie and she gave me a very detailed breakdown of each colour. Once we picked a colour I was shown to a discreet room (the whole place is immediately clean). I was then left to change.

I got sprayed Hollie did an excellent job. Everything was extremely even and the coat was as described,

On the way out I was thanked for my custom and nothing was to much trouble. I had a really pleasant experience and will come back for anything else I need.
