Stayed for 5 days, room was lovely and clean and comfortable, the shared bathroom was spotlessly clean at all times, breakfast was always served with a smile and a delight to eat, hosts were very warm and friendly, will stay again when in the area.

Travelling alone with some mobility issues and this was a perfect location from Railway Station. I thoroughly enjoyed my chats with 'mine host' Ian. A cosy, welcoming B and B. The bed was very comfortable and everything very cleaned to a high standard.

My partner and I stayed there recently. The owners were friendly and the room was great. We were lucky as we didn't have to share a bathroom which we both preferred . The bed was really comfy and breakfast was lovely . Great location. Would recommend to other people.

Very nice place. Spent 8 nights there. Charming hosts, spotlessly clean, 5 minutes from Barrow Station. Their dog is a host and greets you as well. Would stay again.

We had a lovely stay in the guesthouse. Rooms are very clean. You share the toilet and shower with other guests, which was never a problem. We got every day fresh tea and coffee for the room. It would be a pleasure to stay there again. City centre only 5 minutes walk.

Great B&B, handy for getting into the town centre and train station. The room was immaculately clean, the beds were super comfortable. Run by a lovely couple. Thank you both for a great stay....❤

Working away means I need a place to stay for a few days at a time. Ian is great to deal with,and there are a selection of rooms available. All floors have a clean shared bathroom with soaps and shampoo. The main thing for me is a comfortable bed,and I can say from the several rooms I've been in all are very good quality,so well done Maindee on not buying cheap. I stayed up the road at another guest house and hardly slept due to a cheap mattress as a comparison. Each room has a TV, wardrobe,sink,somewhere to sit and a fresh towel. Basic but more than adequate. From a price point of view at £35 per night,ideal.

It is such a convenience that the station was round the corner and you can get a bus to the lake in 30 minutes it's a lovely house with great hosts but the only problem is that the bed wasn't comfy and the duvet was to heavy for the summer weather
