Beautiful accommodation. Gorgeous well appointed rooms. Lovely and warm (we stayed in December) and the bedroom had everything we might have needed and a very comfortable bed. Like so many cottages of this age tall people like me have to stoop a little for doorways but well worth it to enjoy such a comfortable stay. Liz and Steve were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious! And they have wi-fi. We will definitely be back when next in the area. Thank you.

If you're ever near Lincoln and need an overnight stay this is an excellent place to go. In fact all the better if you can extend to 2 or 3 nights or even more. The owners are so very welcoming and sociable. Rooms are excellent. Breakfast is top notch and plentiful. I recommend you give them a go.

My partner and I stayed here for a wedding we were attending at Stubtorn Hall. The cottage was excellent and clearly has a lot of history as it dates back to the 1700's. It was a short stones throw away from the venue - which was very easy to commute to. It had all the modern features you expect. Nice big rooms, comfy and firm beds and the breakfast in the morning was very well cooked and a good selection. On arrival we were greated by the hosts and shown where everything was. They were very friendly and welcoming. The village it is in is very beautiful, but does lack things to do. That said the BNB is very close to local towns and the location is a perfect weekend get away. Would happily stay again. The price for the quality we received was excellent and we highly recommend it.

Can't comment on the rooms as I stopped by to join a friend for breakfast. The property is lovely with a contemporary finish very sympathetic to the traditional style. Breakfast was perfectly cooked and portioned, bacon was a highlight; thick slices, forgot to ask where it was from.

The owners are friendly and, most importantly, genuine people who clearly enjoy running a B&B.

I recommend.

This B&B is perfect, friendly, welcoming hosts, excellent breakfast, comfortable bed and superb facilities.
Local public house within a stones throw from B&B serving good quality, reasonably priced food. Quiet village location. 10/10.

Liz and Steve were very welcoming and went over and beyond their roles. They were the perfect hosts and could not do enough for us! We aren't from the area, they gave us a few taxi numbers before we went out, which was very helpful. They even let us check in slightly earlier as the family party we were attending started at 3pm. So we had enough time to quickly drop our bags off and quickly get changed. Not many places would let you do that!

We booked a king deluxe room (the plum room I think). It was nice and bright, clean and very spacious. The bed was so comfortable, I didn't want to get up. It was the best sleep I've had in ages !! The cottage is located in a very quiet and beautiful area, no noisy neighbours and not much traffic passing, so your sleep isn't disturbed.

The breakfast was AMAZING and cooked to perfection 😋 I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I will defo stay here again. I would recommend Rose Cottage to anyone.

Many thanks,
Lindsay and Vic.
