Stay in this place when working in the Ware area as rooms are affordable and close to Ware centre. Staff really friendly and the rooms serve the purpose of a bed and shower. Room maintenance could be better. Bring own shower gel as times I have stayed there are none. Nice pub downstairs and not noisy from the room.

Lovely staff. Nice simple breakfasts included. Room was as good as a pub room can be. Few bits and bobs broken or damaged but nothing that effects our stay

For a B&B it serves it purpose.
Bed, shower, toilet. The staff are very welcoming, helpful and friendly.
Our room was below standards however. TV above the bed made no sense unless you enjoy having a bad neck. The shower had no cold option which is absolutely fantastic when it’s a heatwave outside and the hose fell off. A random metal nail left on the bathroom windowsill. The sink taps barely attached to the sink. A kettle and water options on a table too small. The door lock was intermittent.
The room wouldn’t pass a H&S assessment.

Immediately upon arrival the staff who welcomed me have been lovely. So, SO accommodating. It's a shame I'm her for work not pleasure. The people make the experience and having met the people...the experience is top notch!

Well I have stayed in lots of b&b for around ,£75 to£90 and in general the rooms are very nicely decorated with a nice bit of space but this room was an absolute dump I've never even seen a room this bad bits missing off the door frame skirting board not fixed to the wall properly window filthy toilet door not painted I could not believe this room gets let out to people absolutely awful the worst I've ever seen in my life couldn't wait to get out of there never again for me and definitely not worth £75 more like £7.50

Really disappointing. Arrived back around 1am after working late. No cold running water in my room. Brushed my teeth with hot water. Used the toilet and couldn't flush it. Couldn't have a shower. Next morning the house-keeper was unhelpful and unsympathetic.

I spoke to the owner/manager on an out-of-hours emergency number who promised to refund me immediately. 3 weeks later this still has not happened. Was happy to wait for resolution but then has been unforthcoming so here we go.

Wanted to support a small local business rather than book with Travel Lodge or similar. Backfired. Really disappointing.

We were suppose to stay at the pub but my friends room was cancelled on the day by the owners, and as such I asked for mine to be cancelled as well since he would have to stay at my house instead. The owners said says that fine and that we would be refunded ...one month later still no refund, despite messages through booking.com, emails and texts.

PHENOMENAL. We were lucky enough to secure the highly sought-after Nelson suite with private entrance. The tartan carpeted shower was a fantastic feature. No light bulbs in the lamps to save energy - a really nice sustainable touch. Continental spread in the morning was a delight - even managed to secure the last babybel to wash down my plate of beans. A must-see in Ware.
