Wellrose Barn is an absolutely stunning place to stay in rural Hertfordshire. Amanda and Vaughan are so friendly, kind and helpful. The accommodation is spacious, clean and very comfortable. The garden is beautiful and it's all dog friendly. There are stunning countryside walks and an abundance of birds and wildlife to see. The Barn is set in such a peaceful setting that it's like being in your own little piece of heaven....I could have stayed there forever. Thank you Amanda and Vaughan for a lovely holiday experience.

Really beautiful place.
We stayed here as a couple, for 3 days, enjoying some countryside peace and quiet with our dog.
The converted upstairs of the barn is a compact studio, but feels larger, containing all you need to be comfortable, and more. It was really hot weather when we stayed, but numerous ceiling skylight windows made it lovely and airy, as well as black out blinds for early summer mornings.
It is extremely well-kept and has pristinely clean facilities throughout. There were also some lovely touches when we arrived, with fresh garden flowers, fresh butter, bread, milk and yougart, which was a really nice surprise.
There is a safe place to park your car in the garage, as well as free WiFi if needed, though in our case, we were staying well away from technology! The beautiful garden is lovely to sit in and relax with a drink.
The hosts are such lovely people and provide whatever info you are interested in for your stay, including lots of beautiful local dog walks and places to eat and visit. There are lots of local villages, as well as being close to major transport networks.
If you are a dog lover, our dog enjoyed it just as much, and made some furry friends with the hosts' dogs too.
We will definitely come back, and would highly recommend Wellrose Barn to anyone!
