This bed and breakfast is outstanding. The accomodation comprises of three rooms. A lounge diner, with cooker and fridge. A bedroom and a shower room. This is all very modern, stylishly decorated with White Goods linens and upmarket toiletries. This is all set away from the house with your own entrance. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. They even gave me a lift to a party a couple of miles away as the local taxis were all booked. The breakfast next day was very hearty. I'd certainly visit again. By the way if you find my phone charger...

Stayed here for a friends wedding at the nearby Horsebridge station and would highly recommend. The accommodation lies in a separate annex to the house so is very private however Sarah makes you feel like a friend from the moment you arrive. Breakfast in the main house kitchen was delicious and a real homely touch without feeling intrusive to their lovely family. Would stay again if in the area.

Very warm welcome, comfortable self contained accommodation and a nice breakfast to start the day. Good base for exploring the Test Valley. Pity more of the river is not open to the public. Some great local pubs.

What a find..anyone considering the Clarendon Way should ignore the advice of Rambling Man cos so much is accurate and book to stay here. It is superb, on the route and probably can't be beaten. Lovely place, lovely people, great little Annex and fab breakfast. What's not to like? Gavin n Daf Kewley

This is a beautiful setting for a bed and breakfast. The annexe is separate from the main house which makes it very private. It is very modern and clean and tidy inside with a lovely shower room. Sarah is very friendly and welcoming and brought us warm croissants in the morning for breakfast. She also stocked up the fridge for us. We stayed here for a friend's wedding and there is a lovely, picturesque pub just a short walk from the b and b called the boot inn with a gorgeous garden by the river test. All in all an absolutely lovely stay.

I was impressed by the roof with three types of coverings: shingles, thatch and slate. We have never been inside. It's in a picturesque quiet village of Houghton.
