Positive: My room had everything I needed for a quiet weekend away from the rat race. I even had a little Kitchenette to do a bit of cooking . If I'd stayed longer, I would have enjoyed having a coffee and sausage roll in the Village Cafe. I wasn't driving, so the fact that there was a shop attached to the b&b and a Farm Shop down the road, was important. There were nice , reasonable walks to local pubs nearby too. The area has lots of good places of interest to visit and longer scenic walsk for serious walkers. The cooked breakfast was lovely, with eggs courtesy of the ex-batt hens (happy chickens, delicious eggs!). Dave and Julie were very helpful and friendly, yet unobtrusive. I would come back at the drop of a hat, as I feel I've had a proper , stressless weekend!. Negative: My fault that I didn't flag up gluten free bread and maybe a bit more fruit for breakfast, but I'm sure if I'd asked it would have been no trouble..

Very out of the way. Soon after arrival asked to move my car in the customer car park as "That is my wife's space". Room ice cold on arrival and was smaller than beds I've slept in at other places in the area, for less money to boot. Cobwebs had to cleaned off loads of things in the room. A fridge and microwave were crammed in the corner of the room, one with a very dodgy plug at the end of the flex. At breakfast, entered the house through the "Wrong" door and was told by wife in a curt manner that I would have to go out of this entrance for healthy and safety reason, and use the other unmarked door to enter. In the breakfast room was greeted by a budgie cage , with bird, hung up, the cage not the budgie, next to the cereal bowls and cereal. Breakfast was very very good however. If you want to feel like you, have REALLY earned your money for a weeks graft away, stay here for the night. If you want to start checking out jobs pushing trolleys at the local mega market stay here for two nights.

Positive: Great breakfast, cosy place I slept great. Lovely hosts..

Positive: The hosts went out of their way to find microwaveable evening meals which saved me eating out in the dark damp evenings . Breakfast was freshly cooked to order. Eggs were done to perfection whether poached , scrambled or fried .. Negative: The bedroom was warm welcoming and cosy but the adjoining bathroom temperature was a little challenging Even with the fan heater going full blast . Perhaps an electric towel rail as well ?.

Dave and Julie great hosts, very friendly nothing was too much trouble, even to trying to get my shih tzu to eat who was homesick.
Cosy little room out the back with a little kitchenette and shower room. Warmed up nicely.
Loved waking up to bird song and the 2🐓 who were not that noisey.
I had poached eggs for breakfast from their hens and they were so tasty. When in the area with my dogs would definitely stay again.

The owners were welcoming. The bedroom was pleasant with a nice view and cozy feel. The kettle and mug were old and a bit grubby. The bathroom was across the hall, which was not what I expected, and was not up to expected standards of cleanliness. The toilet was not bleached and had hairs on the rim, the door and handle were grubby.
I did not sleep too well as the bed was on a tilt, which woke me up a few times.
Breakfast was a dismal experience. I had to sit very close to 2 unknown men, which was awkward. The coffee was good. The eggs were cooked well but the rest of the breakfast wasn't. The mushrooms tasted of stale, cheap fat and the tomatoes were barely cooked and still cold. I had to make my own toast, and they only had cheap white bread. The local area is lovely with some beautiful walks. I was glad I only booked for one night. I would not stay here again

Excellent. Nice room with facilities (iron and ironing board, fridge etc) that put most hotels to shame. Lovely couple run it who make a terrific breakfast. Wonderful views from the local area too. Definitely recommended as a place to stay if visiting Goodwood and I will choose this place again for the same reason.
