A lovely welcoming place to stay if in Maldon. Kim and Gerry are at attentive hosts without being intrusive and provide everything you should need. The room was comfortable, had large en suite, tea, coffee, sweets and treats. Breakfast was huge with a vast choice and eat as much as you want. Value for money great.

The accommodation was first class with so many extras in the room, including sweets, biscuits and nuts. Bed very comfortable, flowers in room. Great location right next to the Thames barges. Breakfast was amazing including fresh fruit of every kind, fresh eggs from their own chickens.Large variety on menu with kippers included as well as full English. Best ever. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a night or two in this location. Welcoming and charming hime owners.

We have stayed at the Hythe on many occasions just because we love it. We cannot find any negatives about Kim & Gerry’s lovely place,the breakfast or the very welcoming hosts. This is the most relaxing and comfortable b&b that we have stayed in and we have stayed in some amazing places.
