What a find!!! I stayed with Rock House for 3 days during April and i could not commend them higher. I was staying away for work and struggled to find someone to look after my cat whilst i was away. A quick google search brought me to the Rock House and as i needed early check in and late check out i thought best to call. Straight away i was struck by the friendly tone on the other end of the line that honestly could not have been more accommodating. They allowed me to check in early and were really excited when i said i was bringing along my cat, Myrtle.
Upon arrival i was greeted by a lovely woman in the coffee and food stand on their drive who had been expecting my arrival and offered me a coffee following my long drive (they are separate to the Rock House but allow free hot drinks to any guests, what a lovely touch!) The building itself is very clean tidy, and a fridge in the room! Very hard to come-by when staying away. Throughout my stay the manager always ensured i had everything i needed, even helping me find the most local place to buy some hair straighteners as i had forgotten mine, rookie error. On the last day of my stay, i was out a lot of the day on meetings and i asked if they wouldn't mind checking on the cat every now and again as it was quite a warm week. When i arrived back later that evening the managers young daughter (it was Easter week so she was on her school holidays) excitedly told me how she had been looking after the cat and given her a lot of cuddles, attention and dreamies.
I even left an expensive phone charger in the room and received a parcel in the post a week or so later with the charger and some cat treats (dreamies of course) from the hotel.
I honestly could not ask for more for a stay away for work and felt very comfortable and relaxed staying with this team. I have told all my friends, family, colleagues and anyone who will listen about my wonderful stay and i will most certainly be back.

The hotel was nice and cozy only things that let it down was that the toilet is communal so not got your own toilet in the room, the location but that's mainly on us as shouldve done more research into distances but overall was a nice stay. Thanks to Dominic and liz for explaining how things work in the area.

Had the room at the top of the house on the front. Lovely, clean, well equipped & lovely en suite. Perfect for our stay. The option of food to order at Reception (time specific) and the lovely coffee wagon outside in reception are a fab touch. Close to Town Centre. Friendly attentive staff & a great value breakfast at a reasonable additional cost. What's not to love! Our friend had a single on the ground floor, we had a double. Perfect for us as we were attending a Wedding Reception at the Orangery. Say again if visiting Maidstone? Hell yeah!!

Lovely and inviting staff, clean rooms with all the amenities needed for a comfy stay. Breakfast was very good too. Overall a very positive experience :)

A perfect overnight stay. A wonderful spacious room. Really modern and clean shower and toilet. Comfortable double bed.Big TV. Excellent WiFi. Heating is just right. Brekkie is perfect and staff are fabulous. I’ll be back.

These guys are awesome, Kind, Mannered, Rooms are always spot on to perfection and they will explain bits to you. Their breakfast is also amazing. Can't praise these guys enough. Will definitely be staying here more often, best hotel in Maidstone by far

The night porter greeted us, and explained everything to us.... parking, breakfast, house rules etc.... Gabby our breakfast host was spot on with our breakfast, kind and courteous. Our room on our 2 night stay, top floor at the front of the hotel. Brilliant room, clean and fresh. Thank you Dominic and Gabriel.

I've stayed here three times now. Service is always spot on. Never had a problem with the staff, always friendly and obliging. Manager let me park my car there to visit my mother in care home nearby all day, how many would do that ? The place has a nice cosy feel, more like a home. En suite room is more than enough for anyone, clean and comfortable. We were allowed to use dining room for take out too. The price is better on average than some of the nearby hotels and more value for money than the big names like Premier or Travelodge. Excellent full English breakfast, no skimping on size here. My only wishlist for this place would be a filter coffee machine, but that's only my own personal want more than necessity. It's a big plus for me if the hosts are friendly and helpful, you won't go wrong here. Any other reviews saying otherwise, you've got to ask yourself what kind of people they were. If you're a nit picker and have a haughty, entitled manner, then I doubt anywhere would be able to satisfy you. Would always recommend here, thanks for a pleasant stay.
