I have to agree with previous reviews. We spent a night prior to leaving from LHR the following evening. We were given a late check-out and our bagage was stored until we left for the airport. Our room was more than adequate and very comfortable. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Our breakfast was freshly cooked to order and set us up for the day. We will very likely use this as our London base in future. What is lost in paying tube fares to central London is gained in paying less to get to and from the airport.

Really nice accommodation. Nice sized room and clean. Good quality bed and TV. Got a bit chilly at night, the radiator wasn't hot enough for me and couldn't change it. Also the bathroom was quite small. You can get one person in there just about. Good wifi and friendly staff.

Overall though I definitely would recommend Firs lodge. If I had to stay in the same area I would definitely stay there again.

Simple but pleasant place to stay 10-15 minutes by tube from Heathrow. The front desk staff was cheerful and helpful; they even let us use their computer to print boarding passes for our departing flight the next day. The room was clean and quiet --- the only drawback was the shower water, which kept cycling between very hot and very cold, but since we were just there for one night we didn't raise the issue to the staff. We didn't have time to stay for breakfast, but it looked good.

It's a ways from central London and the local neighborhood is bland, but for our situation of needing to catch an early flight, it was perfect and I'd definitely stay there again.

Not a great place to stay, but it worked for what we needed, which was a cheap room near the airport. We got exactly that - only a short walk from the tube and a few stops from Heathrow.
The rooms were clean, aside from a bit of mould in the bathroom between the wall and ceiling. My biggest concern was the room keys. They use the old fashioned keys, the kind you see in movies and novelty shops. It's kind of cool, but not very secure. Easy to pick, so I didn't feel all to comfortable leaving my things while we went out to dinner. This also means old fashioned keyholes, which allow a nice view of the bed from the hallway. I had to put a towel over the doorknob cause I felt a bit paranoid.
All in all, the stay was fine, and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Just a bit of modern maintenance needed.

Very nice beds and decore - felt very premium. Easy access to Hyde park and Heathrow, and not too hard to get to the rest of London, although it does take longer than other hotels more central. Despite this, for the price it was very nice. Only criticism is it would be nice if they asked how you liked your eggs, but this was minor.

Great location. 5 minute walk to the underground. 2 stops to the airport. Nice room. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Plenty of places to eat close by. What's not to like.

Stayed here on the 26th of January for one night. Booked last minuite for a good price double room with breakfast. On my arrival my first initial sight was that there is work being done on the property. This wasn't a problem and the property was only a couple of mins walk to tube station so location was great. Check in was easy and staff on desk were pleasant. Shown to room which was quite small but lovely and warm and quite clean. Bathroom was really small and no space to move much but ample for what was needed. We stayed on lower floor at the back of building, but window wouldn't close and planes were landing every 45 seconds so really noisy. Also upstairs were quite noisy so ask for upper floor. Bed was quite comfy and clean. Breakfast was ok although had to wait for table as the room was quite small, only choice of 3 cereal and that was it. Full cooked breakfast but no menu, but it was quite tasty. All in all not a bad stay for one night but wouldn't stay longer. Staff were lovely, breakfast ok, price was good but that was about all i can say was good about this stay.

Won't stay again. The room is very hot, no aircon and only a small portable fan that's noisy and hardly works. I slept with the window open which means the outside noise is disturbing including planes flying over. The bed had no sheet, only a duvet which was too hot. Breakfast poorly served.... looked like a messy mush on a plate. Location is great but not much else.
