The owner, Bob, is an artist and when renting a room at his B&B you get a chance to share his world. That is what "at Home B&B" is about. Close to the tube stations and in the lovely Chiswick is an added bonus. He completely refurbished the place in 2010-2011 and this is great. This experience is so refreshing and such a great change compared to the usual standardised and boring hotel service. I travel a lot for business and I have tried everything from 5 stars to B&B. And I must admit that every time I am in London, several times in a year, I am happy to stay at Bob's. But do not expect a 5 star hotel. After all it is a B&B which mean you will share bathroom with other guests.

I have not stay in this place , but I phoned few mins ago. The receptionist have to think for 3 minuet until telling the price per night!! second thing I did not like receptionist attitude. When I said ok thanks goodbye he just hank up!! is this normal in London? I ve been living in Glasgow for 4 years now and have not experiences any rudeness behavior like that. Sorry guys if I sound a bit too judgey :)

We played with our band "Puur" in London, and stayed one night at Bob's B&B. We had a terrific stay, good breakfast, good beds and the day we left, we had some spare time, and left our luggage witch wasn't a problem. Bob's an artist and you can see that in the whole B&B, reel nice vibe. There are two showers, I'd recommend the one downstairs. My next visit to london, I would go to Bob again.

This is not run as a B&B but as a hostel. There is no service at all. But on the other hand it is the cheapest accommodation in London. You have to make you breakfast yourself but can just so as you like. Food was always there but as people have there own hygiene sense you have to live with that.
1. no towel in kitchen or used dirty ones 2. no towel or soap in ground floor toilet 3. two hangers in room 4. no hook or towel holder in room 5. toilet paper loose beside bath tub (can get soggy when people have a shower)
My room had the TV in the wardrobe with an DVBT antenna which had to be taken out of the wardrobe for better signal. I placed a cardboard box on the bottom of the wardrobe to lift the TV to have a more comfortable tele night. With no hooks and the tele on the wardrobe just imagine how and where you put you clothes and towels.
I had a unpleasant conversation with the owner of the house in which he stated that it is not his intention to make the people happy to stay in this house. The reason for this was that at 11 pm there was no warm water for having a shower. The warm water will turn of at a certain time he said which is not true as the days before and after there was hot water. Then he blamed me to he changed anything with the warm water. I should be lucky for paying the low price as £45 per night and if I would be unpleased for any inconveniences I am free to leave and find something better which of cause means to pay more. But this is in my opinion not the right way to deal with his customers. He should make me happy even for a low price room. He wants guests.
one late evening I was in the kitchen drinking tea when the phone rang. The owner rushed to the phone, I said "Good evening" from him no reply. Then he rushed out of the kitchen saying nothing and after returning a few seconds later nothing from him. Then he left the kitchen still without reply from him. Even at the phone answering it he was quiet rude. Funny guy?? 🙄
It’s cheap but you’ve got to bear a lot!

Had a bad experience with this establishment. I had a shock when arrived as it was still under renovation. Wet paints on wall which ruined my jacket, toilet still being fixed by contractor & layers of dust everywhere. Can't stay because of the dustiness & had to look for another place. Owner should wait till finshed all his renovation before renting out.

Never stayed here before but saw it on TV. The owner was really funny, reminded me of my dad abit. If I need to stay over in London I know where to go!

It’s not clean enough for me to stay. Everywhere should come to a certain standard. He is quite rude and doesn’t care too much if the people who stay aren’t happy and blame them. Would not recommend!
