Bay lodge

It's a cool,quiet place to spend a week. The owner though an elderly lady, is very diligent, meticulous, organized and considerate. She envisages you basic needs and make provision for that before hand. The rooms are neat and smart, breakfast is a sure deal and most importantly it's affordable.

Do not book direct. I committed this blunder hoping it would be cheaper but got bitten. Their website has no booking system but rooms can reserved by sending an enquiry. However, the lady managing the rooms is not in communication with her business partner taking web bookings. I even went to the extent of paying in advance so that I have the room guaranteed. But, when I arrived, there was no room. I was a bit relieved that the lady already paid me back my booking fees in cash. Take note that this guest house has no front desk.

What can I say about bay lodge it’s one of the best guest house I’ve stayed in, it’s well looked after and very clean and tidy the rooms are nice sizes and very comfortable beds and the lady’s that keep this going are very helpful when needing something I will be staying here again.

A lovely owner. Well cared for, clean and homely rooms, clean bathrooms and kitchen. Lovely, quiet and serene. Great value.

Neat and tidy. Breakfast of bread and cereal available in the kitchen. Heater goes off at 10pm and comes on at 6am

Very clean and tidy little place the owner is very nice but I traveled to see the miss and the little one I have neaver had a problem with bring the little one in befor in other B and B as was a very hot day and wanted to get him in some were shaded and cool my partner and little one were not staying the first night but this seemed to be a big problem for the owner over all was nice and clean but think if u are a young couple this is not the place for you

Nice accommodation. Room warmer goes off at night though
