The Lodge B&B @ Cannock Chase

Great hosts, very kind! They supplied us with a hose to wash our bikes. Cake offered on arrival. Great full English breakfast every day. Selection of tea in the room. Would highly recommend as a place to stay.

I've stayed here 10+ times now. It's well located for my work, has secure parking and Lee and Marie are lovely. I'd ignore the one negative review. It almost sounds as though they are bitter losers from the show. I have to say that the cleanliness is incredible, they're warm and welcoming, and standards haven't dropped once. Couldn't recommend highly enough. Also, breakfast is great.

Excellent service. Made to feel very welcome with free yes and cake on arrival. Breakfast boxes brought to the room were great. Given good advise on where to eat in the evening. All very clean and COVID compliant. Recommended.

Lovely lodge beautifully styled and immaculate. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of personal choice. Lee and Marie were lovely and very attentive by making sure we had a great stay.

This is a great little B&B where we was offered a drink and cake after being shown to our room. We felt like anything want too much to ask, and the guests are very welcoming. We was very impressed that the owners had learned our sons name, and addressed him by it at breakfast several times. Breakfast was very good, and we were impressed that I was catered for with my gluten intolerance, and my wife being vegetarian. I had gluten free sausages and my wife got vegetarian sausages with our full English breakfast. We Will definitely be returning.

Lee was very welcoming and helpful. My room was spacious, clean,comfortable and nicely decorated with a very comfortable bed. I had an early morning business meeting but Lee was there to make me a pot of tea and lay on cereals and delicious Greek yogurt with fruit. It was a an icy morning and he had left out some de-icer and a scraper, nice touch. Certainly much better than staying in a more expensive hotel. I would certainly recommend it. Thank you

Overall a brilliant stay. I only stayed for one night.
The location is fantastic if you like a calm environment near the Cannock Chase AONB District. The view from the back room is of the garden where Lee grows his own apples, and of a beautiful tree top overview.

For the breakfast you're allowed to pick some options - including some vegetarian ones. Lee cooks it himself and since it was late September the apples came fresh from the garden!
Breakfast options include

- Baked Beans
- Fried/Scrambled/Poached Egg (best Poached egg I had in England so far)

There is also options for Vegetarians, Lactose Free and Gluten Free dietary requirements.

TL;DR: Lovely stay, nice rooms, great price, outstanding breakfast, and great Wi-Fi.

One of the best stays I've ever had! The people are so lovely! And happy to talk to you and answer any queries. The breakfast was also really good.
