Hunters Lodge Bed and Breakfast

We stayed at Hunter's Lodge for a couple of nights in April & had an absolutely wonderful stay (apologies Helen for not sending in this review earlier).
We had a lovely warm welcome, our room was superb with every home comfort you could wish for!
The bed was really comfortable & a really good size & the duvet soft & warm.
The breakfasts were to die for ( I'm sure I've put on couple of pounds more).
The views from our bedroom window were stunning!
My Wife & I really enjoyed our stay, so much so, we've booked to go back in August & taking our friends as well!

I don’t think that I’ve stayed in a better Guest House!! This is a lovely B&B in a lovely part of Sussex.
Hunters Lodge was once a Public House which has now been converted into a spacious and high-quality Bed & Breakfast. When you arrive you are made welcome by Helen and Michael with tea and home-made cake in the large dining room. It is here that the excellent breakfasts are served in the morning. There is also a comfortable lounge adjacent to the dining where you can relax and meet the other guests. The ensuite bedrooms are spacious and comfortable and well-appointed. When we came we took over all the rooms with our children and grandchildren and had a lovely family get-together. We were well looked after by Helen and Michael throughout our stay. So my thanks go to them both for making our stay so special!!

We stayed here the night before a wedding and Helen was a brilliant host and very welcoming. We were greeted with Tea and home made cake when we arrived, we spent the evening in the cosy drawing room with a log fire. Helen made sure we were okay throughout our stay and even had a travel cot for the baby! Breakfast was really enjoyable with plenty of variety. We are already planning our next visit! Thank you Helen for being such a welcoming host!

Helen was a perfect host - friendly, welcoming and happy to provide tips for places to see. Hunters Lodge is a very relaxing environment, with a dedicated guests' lounge space and a very comfortable bed. An excellent base for exploring the lovely local scenery, both coastal and inland. Delicious breakfasts!

Such a beautiful, welcoming house with gorgeous views. Knowledgeable owners, who serve an excellent breakfast, are also easy to chat with and make you feel so welcome. The rooms feel cosy, although the size is extremely generous and the guest lounge is a great opportunity to pick up a book and relax reading something you'd never think to read otherwise.

With lots to do in the surrounding areas, we will definitely be back to stay at this wonderful location and explore the area more!

Hunter's Lodge is an absolutely beautiful B&B, perfectly located for the wedding we were attending that weekend. Helen is an amazing host, so kind and accommodating and her breakfasts are out of this world! Not to mention she greeted us with tea and cake upon arrival. Five stars, fully recommend, thank you for a great experience, Helen!

A lovely home from home stay. The decor and maintenance reflect the beautiful character of the host, Helen. Arrived to a nice cup of tea and homemade cake and really nothing to fault in our room. Would love to go back next year. Thank you.
