Amazing place to go. Maybe a bit on the pricey side but definitely worth it. Chaucer is my favourite but every cabin has amazing views and has a hot tub. Very relaxing and chill place to go even if you just go for a night. Rachel the owner is lovely and very accommodating. The facilities are always top notch clean and the fire is generally already set up for when you arrive so it's nice and cosy. Highly recommend.

Well presented if a little dated lodges off the beaten track. For those looking for a digital detox as only basic WiFi on offer. Hot tub cleaned daily.

Loved this place. Will be booking another weekend away for when they open in March. Cabin was cosy with everything you need, log burner was awesome but the hot tub was my favourite part for sure. I can see myself coming back here a few times in the future

My partner treated me for my birthday and it was such a lovely stay. Beautiful tranquil setting with lovely surrounding countryside to explore, else you can just chill out on the veranda, indoors next to the log burner or in the hot tub! The robes and slippers were a nice luxurious touch too.

Would recommend the bottomless brunch at the local pub, the Shepherds Inn too.

Am looking forward to our next stay.

Thanks Rachel : )

I visited the Chilterns View for my Hen Do with my amazing bridesmaids! We stayed in the new safari tent with our own woodland party area. Rachel was the best host and looked after us so well. The pizzas were delicious and the tent had everything we needed.
The Shepherds Hut provided the best bottomless brunch and The Chilterns vineyard tasting was also lovely.
We have all said we would definitely be back to stay in the safari tent and to try out the romantic lodges also.
A big thank you to Rachel and George! (And Roger the gorgeous black lab too!)

Best place I have ever stayed in the UK!! Absolutely stunning and the staff/owners are lovely as well. Waking up to a field of poppies and a hot tub is amazing! Can't wait to visit again - definitely recommend the Ridgeway Lodge the most.

We stayed ed here for a couple of nights to get away from the hussle and bustle of our busy lives .

On arrival Rachel met us and was very welcoming and accommodating.

I have to say it was so peaceful as soon as we arrived we felt the tranquility of
Ewelme Down Farm, such a beautiful setting.

We loaded up
Our belongings in a trolley in the little car park and made our way to the lodge.

The lodge we stayed in was called Ridgeway , secluded and private just perfect,

Little added extras like tea, coffee and hot choccy ( perfect for making our French coffees and Baileys hot chocolate) . Even a pint of Semi skimmed milk in the fridge.

We had a vist from two cats , very friendly black one and Timmy the pheasant and friends.

The hot tub was amazing , nice a warm in the evenings. In the mornings it was checked out for our use later in the day.

Little bbq set up for us each morning to make our steaks and lamb we took along with us.
.

On route to the pub, please be aware the roads are very narrow , bumpy , lots of holes in the road drive carefully.

We visited the Five Horseshoes pub which was about 5 miles away , This 300 year old pub had the most beautiful surroundings . Unfortunately for us the food didn’t match to the setting. The staff however were very friendly and courteous.

For groceries it’s about 10 min drive to a Co-op or the local Butcher, petrol station and quaint bakery.

We were also allowed to practice our crossbow shooting which was great fun. .

All in all the perfect stay .
Make sure you take what you need such as groceries so you have to leave this place . Unless of course you want to explore.

We will be back

P.s Rachel, we left our hot toddy glass's which you are welcome to pass on to the next guests.

A beautiful, honeymoon "staycation".

What really stood this beautiful lodge apart was the location, the attention to detail and quality of its contents.

We stayed in the "Chaucer" Lodge and every appliance we could have wanted, was on offer. The log-fire kept us both warm on the brisk spring evenings and was fun to use.

We were also treated on our final evening to the sunset shown below.

The BBQ, Logs and Hot tub were replenished and cleaned in the least intrusive way: with expertise and tact (our only company over our stay were three field pheasants and one slightly confused pigeon).

Rachel was also on hand for any questions or queries. Highly recommend a stay at the beautiful Chiltern Views.
