Lovely, cheery ‘shepherd’s hut’ - comfortable bed and everything you could need. I was on my own when I stayed and there was ample room. Friendly hosts and breakfast provided in the morning to my door. Woke up at 4.30 with birdsong - absolutely glorious! Would definitely stay again 😊

Lovely countryside location. We stayed in the apartment and it is absolutely gorgeous. It is large and spacious, comfy and cozy and very clean. Can't wait to be back in September.

Wonderful host here. I was in the upstairs b&b it suited me ideally as a single traveller although it could accommodate four people easily. Very comfortable and clean. Everything worked well. Deborah and her team made my stay an excellent one and most of all nothing was too much trouble. This combined with a great sense of humour made this six night stay memorable. A great place to explore from.

Fantastic campsite and B&B. We stayed in the Shepard’s Huts, which were everything you could want as a camper - double bed, en-suite bathroom with shower, kitchen area, tv and electric, as well as a lovely outdoor patio area with a small bbq. Hannah and Deborah were great hosts and went above and beyond, as did the wardens who sorted us out with thee-person canoes to take down the river into town for a beer and some fish and chips (a must-do for any future guest). There’s also a very handy on-site shop selling things like bbq kits etc, which is a great idea. We will definitely be back soon.

Stayed here in 2021 and returned in 2022 for canoeing. Nice place to stay, canoeing rates seemed reasonable and seemingly endless water to canoe on. Would recommend

Just spent 2 nights staying in one of their Shepherds Huts. Absolutely lovely. On the bank of the river, so a nice 30 min walk into March, or they will hire you a canoe, or you can fish if that is your hobby. The hut had everything you need, including a fantastic en suite with a very powerful shower, no having to go to a toilet block in the middle of the night! Also had a fridge, microwave, sink, lovely towels, toiletries, utensils, tv and even tea, coffee, sugar and milk in the fridge. Everywhere was spotless, couldn't fault anything. I think we paid about 65 pounds a night so really good value for money

Cannot comment on the rooms as I was in a motorhome pitch, shaded by a hedge, late in the season but OK the town is about 30 minutes walking, 15 minutes cycling, a variety of shops of the usual sort. The road can be tricky at busy times. Market twice. A week, electric and showers extra. Refund if not used.

We stayed here in August 2022 and received a warm welcome from the new owners Debs and Hannah. The apartment was perfect for our needs. The access to the river was brilliant, the children loved kayaking. A lovely walk into town along the river. Plenty of eateries and shops to look around. We highly recommend. We have rebooked already for this year - can’t wait to go back!
