Bridge Farm

I stayed here for a night. I checked in at around 10PM. I was appalled to find that despite paying 60 bucks the heating system was not working. We spent the whole night in a cold room. I tried calling the number provided but it was going straight to voicemail mail. In his defence it was around 11’O clock at night.

I bought the issue to the attention of the owner the next day to which he replied “That is not possible. The centralised heating system is set to 20 degrees and I am pretty sure that’s not the case.” I didn’t demand for a refund, the owner made no such offer either.

The washroom is really tiny and there is barely any space to move. The only positive I can say about this place is that the view from the room is directed to the farm. That’s pretty nice! I couldn’t really enjoy that in a cold room.

This is a relatively nice place to stay, though the rooms are much smaller than anticipated. Those of a taller persuasion should probably reconsider. The general stay was comfortable, though I was abruptly and immediately asked to leave at 10am instead of the 10:30am checkout indicated. Probably would book elsewhere if I had to stay local again, but it wasn’t horrific either.

I stopped for work.
I had a good stay. No complaints.
Only issue I had was the driveway.
We had our van stuck on the stones.
Thankfully, other contractors who was stopping there were leaving at a similar time and helped out.
Big up them.

Unsafe - room booked for me with a pincode was occupied by a male stranger sleeping in my bed. Took my money for a service not provided. Left stranded in Bristol on my own in the middle of the night, with just voicemail telling you to text and no response from owner.

AVOID!!! Booked a night stay with friends to have a well deserved night out with my boys in Bristol. We arrived at the accommodation (shed) to our horror we was not aware that we'd signed up for I'm a celebrity get me out of here on arrival... The grotty bug riddled shed was infested with spiders, not just small ones but the ones you'd witness on eight legged freaks. There was dust amongst each corner, the ceiling and the ornaments looked like they were from Henry VIII's pad. After we contacted the lovely man who deliberately cancelled our booking after not waiting for his cleaner to turn up to 'enhance' the place and would not issue a refund because we were not patient enough to wait in the jungle. We since skidded on 2 wheels away and headed for a more luxury setting which took us around 30 minutes to arrive.... If you love camping, bush tucker trials and crawlies to keep you company.. book ahead! :)

Had a great stay for balloon festival tv and no internet WiFi but to be honest we don't come on holiday to watch telly bed good shower lovely garage over road ace for anything you need excellent Italian 50 yards away ticked all our boxes cya again 😀 👍

1 star is too much. Avoid at all costs. We paid many years ago for our boys to stay in the cabin. We replaced the blinds as they were shocking, no care and attention. When my boys left he did not give our bond back. A mate answered the phone and said the owner was on holiday even though he had been seen. He knew they were leaving but doesn’t care. Also take a look at the feedback he gives people on the bad reviews, he is rude arrogant and not a care in the world. All he cares about is the money. Breakfast consist of a croissant in a clear sealed bag (cheap) and that is it. It’s a shame more people don’t read reviews before booking this place, unfortunately he will continue to rip people off as it’s so close to the airport. It could be an amazing place but it is quite the opposite. He always wanted cash as his partner said card machine not working 🤔 does make you think!!!
SO PLEASE AVOID NOT WORTH THE MONEY.

I would advise not to stay here! Nobody on site to speak to and when you phone the number given you’ll be lucky to get an answer. I asked for a knife and fork as I had ordered food in, the bloke was very short and sharp with me and didn’t even try to help and ended up putting the phone down on me. Walls are paper thin can hear everything! Rooms never get cleaned during the stay either.
